So, they'll most likely try to get D-Will to sign an extension with them. It'll be interesting to see how it all pans out with Dwight.

I think New Jersey should go after David West this offseason. That could help convince Dwight to come and Williams to stay.

NJ could put together an interesting package for Dwight.

They have a nice young big in Brook Lopez. They have first rounders which are currently considered to be highly valuable. ****ton of capspace. Other young talented players.

Would be hilarious if Dwight and Deron walk the season after.

If NJ grabs Dwight, I would love for the Rox to go after Brook if we don't have a center by then.

If I were the nets GM, Lopez + good cheap players is much better than Bynum + anything else the lakers can offer

That would be ideal, but he would probably be sent to Orlando in a S&T package that will make him their starting C

Presumably the Nets owner has recently revealed this wish to ESPN, which is why they are reporting it. But in that case, isn't he violating the lockout?

Are teams allowed to talk about players they covet during the lockout?

If we can't get DH, I would like Brooklyn to get him. Prokhorov is the kind of owner players dream to work for, he's so rich he can afford to blow tons of cash to win. Plus, keeping DH in the east would mean the west will continue to be wide open, with only OKC standing in the way.

I don't like Brook Lopez. He's supposed to be more known for his offense, but he needs a superstar pg to make him look good. There's a reason the Nets have been one of the worst teams in the L, its because Brook Lopez is too soft, doesn't defend or rebound.

That's assuming he wants to win.

I can't help but feel like he bought the team for ****s and giggles, not a passionate fan like Cuban

I think they have a lot less pieces since the Deron Trade. They are not as alluring to a trading partner as they were before. Not only that, being in the same conference is a huge obstacle to overcome.

If NJ grabs Dwight, Orlando won't have a center by then, what make you think that Brook have any chance to sign with us?

Why would he go there? To get more of the same on a slightly less potent roster? If Dwight isn't happy in Orlando where they've surrounded him with talent and decent coaching he won't be happy until he goes to a team that has proven they can win. I believe him when he says he's going to LA. Hell, I'd love it if he ended up here, but come on. If he couldn't win in Orlando what will change here? New Jersey can throw whatever they want at him, even if they get a trade there's no way he would stay there under the current CBA... Now if franchise tagging or something of that nature arises then maybe that would change...
