I read an article, forget where, that said the Nuggets were going to wait till the deadline to move Melo to NJ because it would assure the Nets would be giving up a lottery pick. If they move him today, considering how weak the East truly is, then there is a good chance the Nets make the playoffs and devalue the pick.
He's basically saying, "hey my team is pretty good, but lets make it better by letting them lose to maximize the potential of the two draft picks"

ok fans keep paying those tickets to the games, to see the team, and that way I make money but the players are not going to play with heart, hustle or effort, we want to lose. So I get money for the tickets, but the players wont give all in the court, so you could see a losing team this year.
