This is a great and overlooked point

I can see Eason getting dealt in any Cam deal.

 

I get the concept, but why would we trade down this year + defer the 2027 pick for a year + move that one from unprotected to top-8 protected just to get one more pick in 2031 from a good team?

Unless we lottery protect the 2027 swap it seems we give up all of the upside for one other mediocre pick in the distant future.

 

I think the FO is setting up some contingency trades if they don't see what they like at 10.

 

They really treat Johnson as some sort of Derrick White, what the heck.

 

Yeah I remember before he was dealt to the Nets, some ppl here wanted to offer 2 first rounders haha.
