Would not be surprised if a 3rd/4th team got involved. If the Celtics can dump Terry/Lee on the Nets then that would be huge. Then the Celtics would need to find another team to move Wallace to. Celtics move bad contracts, get picks and will be in tank mode.

Boston is a rondo trade away from wiggins if they do this.

Maybe i am being a bit paranoid.

But if this "Blockbuster" trade happens, then does that make Brooklyn an appealing place to play for Dwight? I am not sure how the salary ramifications would work, but in getting some pieces in a deal. It would be a legit team

S&T - Brook Lopez, fill-in players, draft picks for Dwight?

I think NJ Has bigger plans on there agenda.

    Imagine
    PG Deron Williams
    SG Joe Johnson
    SF Paul Pierce
    PF KG
    C Dwight

Ouch. That old team is now looking pretty good for the next 3 years.

Those 3 picks are all going to suck - mid-late first rounders. Boston would be better off dumping Pierce this year and KG next.

Where are Nets gonna get those picks to sign and trade for Howard if they just used them to trade for Pierce and KG?

Wont happen for a zillion reasons and the Lakers probably prefer flexibility over Lopez anyways.

They would be unable to do it because of the CBA limitations on teams above the luxury tax line. And they'd be way above it.

Looks like that's their plan. I can't see Rondo being okay with all of this rebuilding, I'm sure Celtics will look to trade him. I wonder who would be interested...

I'm only saying most of this because of the NETS owner who is bat s*** crazy and will pay as much over the luxury line to make it happen. I do think it can be achieved though.

Still won't be enough to beat the Heat.

Remember when Boston thought that they had Tim Duncan? Ha, good times.

That team blows. All the starters will get hurt. Garnett and Pierce are old.

That team won't be that great defensively. Garnett would be the best defender, and that's accounting for the probable regression on that end.
