Uh, no. From our perspective, we could have Martin, Scola, Ariza, and Lowry out, and I would still be pissed with losing to the Nets. And for a team that's seriously gunning for the championship unlike us, that makes it even worse. < Good. >
thats just like the Rockets making excuses this season for not having Yao right? excuses are for scrubs, i hope ur not that kinda person

Perkins and "Uno Uno" got owned. Rasheed wasn't much better, and KG just isn't an elite defender any more. Celtics D has gotten shaky, and their offense isn't as reliable. Not sure what Ainge was thinking when he moved a good role player filling a niche (House's 3 pointers) for Never Enough Shots Nate. Boston is going to be creamed in the playoffs. Top 2 East Seeds get to face creampuffs (Bucks, Heat, or Bobcats), but #3 gets the Bulls or Raptors. They are contenders, but they aren't getting swept, and the Celtics don't have the gas tank to burn extra games, especially if they have to play a rested Magic in the second round.

wow, u made thris thread look so missleading. from NETS BEATING CELTICS to CELTICS BEATING NETS...... dude, THE NETS WON. they didnt loose, they WON.
I'm not surprised. With Brook Lopez, Courtney Lee, and the next Yao on that team, it was clear that eventually they'd realize their potential. The Nets are going to be making a big push for the playoffs now that everyone is healthy and they're going to turn some heads.
