Has anyone watched season 3? I thought it ended pretty well. I liked how season 3 focused a lot on the characters, but I also felt 10 episodes is too short when they try to involve the Faction storyline.
You finished already? I'm still on episode 3. I like the characters, so I'm glad they are more focused on them. The plot of the show has already gone off the rails I expect it from time travel shows.. @Rocket River thinks most of the characters are assholes..
So many shows these days are either too juvenile or try to be dark and gritty but it's only on a superficial level. When the script and dialogue is well done, let the actor's act. This series is good. I didn't really get into it until the 4th episode.
because they are There is also a frighten subtext . . . . these people are the ones NEO is fighting against Rocket River
I haven't finished the season yet, but the faction may have a point You can't think these guys are assholes still after watching this season.. I like them even more. What's your problem @Rocket River!?
Finished the season. It started okay then it got fairly boring. As it got to the end it was entertaining again as they killed some characters off but then it ends with a big thud, a cop out ending. Disappointed ultimately.
McClaron is a A-Hole. . . .. thinks he knows everything but constantly f*Cking up The Black Chick is just a generic b*tch for no reason I honestly find my self like 0001 more and more Rocket River
I'll give you Mac being an *******, but everyone else aren't assholes. I'm going to fight you... You're going to have to give me examples of Carly being an ******* because I don't see it. You're wrong on this one.
Carly was shitty to everyone until she forgave her abusive beau’s new Traveler. I tend to agree she’s not the most endearing character. David though... I was against David until this season. He really grew on me and I think they executed his grief and growth in a way that was surprisingly not corny. This season in general did a better job of making the characters more tangible. In Season 1 I thought some of the characters were winking at the camera in the absurd moments—particularly MacLaren.
I enjoyed this season. If I wanted more from my time travel shows, I would go watch the movie Primer. You know it's worrisome you guys can't find any sympathy for a woman terrorized by her abusive boyfriend... Pretty sure we are all watching the same show. She had the worst life out of all the main travelers and all you guys can say is, "What's her problem?" And she wasn't Sh-tty to everyone. She was sh-tty to Jeff. F-ck Jeff. Carly had love for all her squad members. Jo's trash attitude was 1 million travelers worse than Carly's.
Does this show get better? I made it about half way through the first season and found it quite generic. Not terrible but not great.
I've come to terms with the plot being broken (time travel is a b****), but I enjoy the characters and their interactions. I seriously get more anxiety from Mac and his wife's marriage not if the Director is finally going to find the best combination to save the future. I'm more interested if Mac is going to remember all his future crib notes on the 21st. Furthermore, Despite the narrow booty, Mac's wife is kind of milf-y.
Carly's body went through things Carly came in and basically kicked ole boy's ass in every confrontation Rocket River
