Trying to determine where in the disappointing range the finale fell. it wasn’t sopranos bad similar to Game of thrones? lazy like Lost? unresolved like Blossom?
And creates more questions when up until then the storyline since S1 of the Byrdes getting out was this close to happening.
Just watched the last episode last night, I had been binging for a few weeks and the final episode was ok, not as bad as some........I dont get how some great shows can end up with such an anti climatic ending, maybe I build it up to much but there were so many options available to be a better ending.....but I did enjoy the series, I think they could have gone at least one more season.
Just finished. I felt the ending was solid though disappointed about Ruth. You didn’t quite know what was going to happen so the suspense was good. I liked Wendy’s final line because yeah in this world often the bad guys do win.
I'm okay with the ending. It's not your typical TV ending where everything is tied up neatly. I think they conveyed how the wheels keep turning with replaceable players, and that those in power likely have lots of skeletons in the closet.
The analogy of the Byrdes being an invasive species to the Ozarks is fitting. Every local got ****ed.
That series has actually been on my list to rewatch one of these days. I really don't remember all that much about it.
We were fine with the finale. They could've had 2-3 more seasons of the same **** but chose to end it with many things left open. Reminded be a bit of Sopranos wrapping up. Good acting and high quality over 4 seasons. Well done.
It's been years since I've seen it, but I don't know why the ending of the Sopranos gets crapped on so much.
