That blue tint they use Man . .. . her smile looks like death eating a cracker You just know someone is about to die Rocket River
You remember "Traffic", and how Soderbergh used color to convey scene and mood? It reminded me of the same thing.
Spoiler I’m going to **** on the finale. Who is going to launder the Navarro cartel’s money now? Marty handing the “keys” to Ruth would have made a better ending than killing off Ruth and Wendy walking away with everything.
It was terrible, very avoidable situation s they just put themselves in the middle of. 80% have to do with Marty being a cuck/simp not speaking up, and terrible parenting. Their kids telling Ruth where Jave was and repeatedly screwing them over, them not saying anything despite the stance they want to keep them safe and then letting Jonah work with Darlene?! it’s too much
That was my biggest issue, throwing in new characters at the last min was silly to say the least. I didn't hate it but thought they could have done a much better job if they just focused on the story and characters already on the table......
so much inconsistent plot/character Spoiler The FBI letting the cartel/Byrds operate with impunity is ridiculous Ruth not concerned about Clare/Byrds ratting her out to the cartel that she killed Javi is ridiculous Ruth walking up to that car at her house at night unarmed. How does the PI getting his job back prevent him from testifying in the custody hearing? made no sense Wendy/Ruth/Marty yo-yoing between liking/hating each other from scene to scene The PI showing up at the Byrds' house with evidence and zero backup made no sense. Jonah breaking bad and shooting the PI is not in character at all. He doesn't shoot good people.
As good as the show is, most of it is just irritating behavior by the characters. if Wendy and Marty talked to each other about all their evil plans, they wouldn't need half their evil plans...the irony.. Yup...none of that made any sense.
I would have been totally cool with it if every single American character on the show ended up in a cartel vat of acid.
