If you like documentaries, it's the greatest thing ever. And, for TV, the only TV show that I've found that I really like that isn't available streaming is The Boondocks. It's helped me find some other shows that I ended up liking that I never would have considered, like the first two season's of BBC's Robin Hood.
Netflix streaming has a sh!tload of Doctor Who movies... For you Doctor Who fans, does the movie tie in with the series or can I watch them as a stand alone... Isn't there like 30 seasons of Doctor Who?? That is a lot of Who to catch up with...
Only if you are looking for new releases. (which is what I use the disc side for) Other than that, no way. There are a ton of great things on there. My instant queue is like at 150 items. I'm sure a lot of people have way more. Anyone with any kind of appreciation for film (that goes further than 2010) should have no problem finding stuff to watch. It's been a great service and well worth it.
Streaming Netflix makes it so worth it, especially if you can do it on your TV. Shows we watch on Netflix: Futurama Family Guy South Park Dexter American Chopper Psyche King of the Hill American Dad
Nice find! I've already gone through most Tv series I wanted to watch on DVD, the rest are streaming. I'm not a big movie watcher either so I've gone from 2 discs to 1 and very likely just stream soon. I agree with most, there's tons of stuff on streaming to watch. If you want recent movie blockbusters, sure you'll have to wait. But there's lots of great non-mainstream movies, foreign, and other film buff classics readily available.
For anyone streaming on the ps3, I have a question. I am watching a foreign film with subtitles, but they are getting cut off on the bottom of the screen. Is there resizing options within the netflix app? My google search did not yield anything that would help.
I've found so many great new TV series and movies from Netflix streaming that I would have never given a chance to otherwise. Its great.
Four seasons of the Larry Sanders Show is on streaming right now....damn, I forgot how awesome that show was. Good stuff.
anyone seen "the exam" that movie seemed like it was good and then the ending was a total shocker that killed the movie lol its on netflix streaming
holy crap, i Just watched the documentary called "Collapse" based on Michael Ruppert. Scared the crap out of me. Makes too much sense. Someone tell me this guy is crazy, please?!
I love discovering TV shows I missed or passed over the years. Pushing Daisies and Eureka are taking most of my time right know. All the Stargates are next, as well as Battlestar Galactica.
bump I'm laid up with a broken toe and need some recs for Netflix Streaming. Watched Full Metal Jacket for the first time last night, awesome. About to watch The Machinist.
