[Netflix Cinema] Idris Elba in Carey Fukunaga‘s 'Beasts of No Nation'

    That was a pretty awesome movie. My favorite scene is when Commandant and his rebels are walking through that town they liberated with the background soundtrack music playing.

    good movie...not great. I love Idris Elba (Wire and Luther), but this movie is competing with a lot of predecessors for genres of both adolescent boys and Africa troubles (Last King of Scotland, Blood Diamond). This movie combines the two genres for the first time.

    But as for comments the boy actor in this movie is the best ever ...

    not on the same plane as

    Tye Sheridan in Mud with Matthew McConaughey

    Agreed. I was pretty disappointed. I imagine the book was much better.

    Some dam elite acting in this movie. I must say I'm kind of disturbed about the reality of it.

    I liked it but totally agree on these two things.

    This really could have been great. A missed opportunity.
