IF Israel was 'internally ****ed' (it's bad but not as bad as the rest of the middle east), it would have to do with the perpetual wars they have to fight.

Do the liberals in this thread realize they are arguing that a) Israel is internally ****ed b) Israel is not Conservative/Libertarian ? hmmmmmmmmmmm

What does poor economic policy have to do with fighting wars? What does having good public schools have to do with war?

Also you just suggested that Israel is fine and has no internal problems. That of course would require you to respond to the litany of problems listed in this thread which you have no intention of doing because you have no idea what you're talking about.

Also what I posted has nothing to do with Conservatism or Libertarianism. It was simply a criticism of the poor governing style of the ruling coalition.

You are the one trying to turn this into a proxy for American political divisions. My post was an attempt to objectively talk about the internal challenges within Israel.

Yet you continue to talk on and on about war. What does war have to do with birth rates or education policy? Is that why the secular community in Israel basically has a negative birth rate? Is that why the Orthodox and Arab community continues to have rapid growth? Is war why public schools are perpetually mismanaged? Is war why the government continues to dole out handouts to the religious community at the expense of people who actually produce wealth and capital?

In your world, Netanyahu can do no wrong because the Palestinians want a state which seems absurd to me. The level of cognitive dissonance among people like you is truly amazing.

you don't think wars effects the state of an economy (not sure why you bring up economic policy when that's not what I said)? or schooling?

NO I didn't, in fact I said 'it's bad but not as bad as the rest of the middle east'. read fail

Didn't say that either...... slow down; take a deep breath; and read.

whatever internal challenges you are referring to will be bettered by eliminating the threat surrounding them. Do you think any business is clambering to set up shop in Israel which is surrounded by insane dictators?
