No surprise here. Next year will be his "rookie" season. He'll be worth the wait and they'll have a higher pick.
If this is purely and solely to tank, fine. But if his career is in doubt, what a disaster for the Sixers.
he basically answered the tanking question with "i hope they make the playoffs and dont have a chance at it" tanking is like fight club for nba execs.
Well I hope philly gets wiggins then. Too bad they do the lottery behind closed doors and use faulty statistics to make you believe it. Skepticalbrah
I feel like everyone knew this was coming. I respect what they are doing, they realized their current core wasn't going to cut it, got top market value for Holiday, and look poised to get a superstar next year.
Morey and others have been saying for years that the nba draft is a screwed up system that rewards crap management... so now he's moved out some front office folk who can do something about it. Tank so obviously and piss off so many people that they have to change the system. Just not until after you use it to take the top pick.
even if noel could've come back towards the middle of the season, the 76'ers probably would've told him to stay put and wait it out anyways lol. they really want that top pick
every single draft in every league rewards crap management. If you don't like it follow European leagues.
