Mike D is on record saying his main goal is to make Clint an all star. Nene needs to rest for the playoffs with his injury history.
I really like Nene and I think he is going to have more left in the tank than some people think. I have always wanted him as a Rocket. Great deal. I could absolutely see him being the better option to start. If that ends up being the case, I would prefer to go ahead and deal Clint if that makes sense.
That's a pretty amazing transformation! He will be 34 to start the season, but to get in the best shape of his life at this age shows signs of a guy who really works hard and is hungry. I really like that. Dude looks Ben Wallace physique now after over a decade of being beefy but with high fat body type.

Capela fits better next to Reno defensively. I'd much rather see nene get time at c/pf and come off the bench
Why does it matter? It actually would make sense to start him because of his experience. That doesn't mean he'll play great or get the bulk of the minutes.
Agreed! He could start, but defensively he is a liability and his rebounding could prove to be a big problem. Capella still has a lot of value on this teamand reason to keep him around would be to learn from Nene on how to be a better scorer.
