Barring a major injury, he should play way more than 30 games. He's played in at least 53 games the last four years and in six of the last seven seasons.
Why isn't this poll public? Who are the 7 people who didn't like Houston getting Nene for 2.9M? This is why democracy isn't always good, some people are just dumbasses This is a great deal, and shows that despite a certain segment of CF acting like the Rockets are the worst team in history ever this team is actually pretty decent, if you're a vet and you won't get any PT with GSW, Spurs and Cavs who else is there? Clippers are clearly on the decline, Twolves are too young and Dallas is full of retreads. Rox are gonna make some noise next season. Nene provides the team with vet savvy and solid production for up to 20 mins a night. Pretty good deal for 2.9M.
Can't complain Nene is a good pickup. He moves his feet well, and he doesn't get killed on the glass. He's a plus rebounder, and if he's healthy he'll thrive with D'Antoni. And at this contract, we can flip him at the deadline.
I already threw out the idea of Brewer's 7M contract into Cavs' 9M trade exception. Cavs are looking for a wing. They liked Brewer in the past.
Right atleast we're not paying Dwight 23 million to play 60 games while hoping playoff Dwight shows up in the playoffs.
Dmo, Capela, Chinanu, KJ? I think this year's bench blows last year out of the water, Gordon by himself is already a massive upgrade lol.
Good, i like Nene for cheap. I think that if there's no better deal available (Okafor, Millsap), a trade with the Suns for Knight (and Chandler?) might not be that bad at this point... Maybe the Suns are still waiting to see if Millsap or Love are available, if they can trade for one of these guys i don't think they're going to trade Tyson since he's a perfect fit with them.

They now need a good fast break push PG IMO to fit MDAs style of play. Someone that can push, pass and score off the break.
Jarrett Jack has already been offered around the league and the Rockets have already spoken about a deal for him; but there is a real chance he is released. I suspect that the Rockets will make a trade and utilize their cap space accordingly.
