I think we'll be fine regardless. There's a lot of basketball talent here and a gimmick system in place designed to make the regular season easy. This is the ultimate. mediocre, perennial 6-8th seed roster and system. I just don't understand the direction anymore. I don't see any satisfactory goal here to this plan... what's the point?

Yeah, I feel the Rockets will make a trade coming up here. And that might be why they are keeping the "powder dry" on that 10M in cap space. Might need that to grease the wheels.
With backup PG being the next obvious target, I wonder who they're looking at. Jarrett Jack would make a lot of sense. Obviously he can't shoot the 3-pointer to save his life, but he's a solid distributor and defender. Vasquez was banged up last season, but I like his potential in this offense. There's obviously Barbosa, but I see him more as a combo guard than a true point, and they still need a PG who can create offensively. I'm still holding out hope for a trade for Bledsoe, Knight or Rubio, but I'm wondering if that ship has sailed at this point...
good pickup for sure. Lets get Barbosa to help out Bev & run the offense he knows best. That should be another cheap deal. Then offer d-mo a 2 year 18 mill contract.

LOL. I was thinking about my fantasy football drafts and how I always coveted certain players like P. Manning, L. Fitzgerald, etc. After wanting them for so many years, I finally get a year where I draft them. Unfortunately, they all lay a goose egg that year. Hopefully that doesn't happen to us.
Gordon and Nene both back ups so should see significantly less burn. Hopefully they'll stay healthy and play out their respective contracts. I'm hoping Anderson gets starters minutes along with Dmo and Capella.
