1. Nelly makes alot of sense. Ppl find reasons to absolve Kobe of guilt. The blame coaches, teammates, executives and even at times fan but never Kobe. 2. LOL this was hilarious. Nelly doesn't seem to know the technicalities of NBA Like accusing Kobe of not taking a paycut, that's impossible until his contract runs out... But he really got under Cari's skin. She revealed her huge bias for the Lakers, she then starts to sound like some poster that roams around Lakersground. Nelly made it about Kobe/Lakers, she turned into a hater asking "How many championships are the Rockets going to win!" and saying all we have is Dwight Howard. Also if you insult Kobe in any way, she acts like you've just talked about her mother. That was fun to watch.

The thing is what became evident toward the end, and I give credit for SAS bringing it out, is Nelly was giving inside info. It wasn't just Dwight's inside info, Nelly is close to Lebron and Wade for a fact. So when he says nobody wants to play with Kobe he is giving inside info. Now it's his opinion that Kobe doesn't elevate anyones game, But that's the way I see it too. Kobe is all about Kobe. He wants to win but he wants all the glory. We complained about Harden but he looks like Mother Teresa and Ghandhi compared to Kobe. Kobe knows how to score no doubt but late in big games he can be stopped. The Lakers won that last championship in spite of him not because. Kobe hasn't proved anything on his own. Without Pau and Bynum, without Shaq he doesn't win crap. He's right about 2006. Kobe had his stage and he choked big time. And then when everyone b****ed about him shooting too much he quit shooting and they lost game 7. And then he wanted a trade. He was a primadonna b**** back then demanding trade and then refusing it. Kobe doesn't make his teammates better but great players make Kobe better and give him a better chance to win and shine. Kobe is a one on One phenom that has been fortunate to have played with some of the best Lakers teams to allow his play look better than it actually is. And I do believe no superstar will sign with the Lakers next year if the intend to keep Kobe there for several more years. If they do not renounce him completely or resign him for a lot less there will be no mony for a max deal for Lebron or Melo anyway. So I think Nelly is speaking more truth than he wants to admit. Nobody wants to play with Kobe and Nelly knows it because Howard and probably Lebron wade and Melo told him.

Just watched the whole thing and wow, that female host is annoying. Arrogant to the fullest, laughing off things, making stupid remarks, being the biggest Lakers homer on the show by far. It's disgusting, sure the majority of the audience wants her off the show.
This, she annoyed the crap out of me with that bias. She may be hot, but all she is just a Laker homer hosting an ESPN show. No one "knows" what the Lakers are doing in 2014, if they can even land anyone.
I thought he did a great job considering the format and personalities of that show. I wish he would have mentioned the Rockets' legacy of great big men when someone mentioned Dwight being scared he couldn't measure up to the Lakers historic bigs but that is probably asking a lot from a non-Houston fan.

You can not compare the LA bigs to Houstons. Its not even close. Especially if we are using Ralph who only played 5 years with us and Yao who was only dominant maybe two year's.
Exactly, the Dream is the only one who won with Houston so they would make it a point to say there is no pressure because Yao is loved and so are the others and they don't have a ring.
