    I played there in the late 70s early 80s......

    We were nothing special, and even though our coach was beloved he couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag......

    Now my son's are at Bowie HS in Austin, and get to watch other innovative coaches kick butt in a similar situation where our coach has been here 20 years and is about as predictable as the 4 seasons.....which means some people forget that FOOTBALL is a GAME and there are better GAME players than others.....
