well, since a couple of weeks i got numerous "add-me-to-your-contact-list" messages. i used to put them just on my ignore list, but it´s gettin annoying - is there anything i can do to avoid this?

just to clear things up: i put all the settings in the security and privacy permission setup on high - but it just won´t stop flooding me...

    thx in advance

In truth, I don't really know, but I just wanted to chime in and say WOW, SOMEONE STILL USES ICQ??

I LOVED ICQ back in the day. It was the bomb. When I was in college, I had a gf who went to Mexico on study abroad. We would talk every day on ICQ. Brings back lots of memories . . .

I use GAIM now -- it'll do ICQ and AIM, Yahoo, MSN, etc.

I love ICQ, though I don't run it any more. Maybe I need to try GAIM to integrate all of my IM.

I have the lowest ICQ# I have ever seen. 337955

I don't know of any way to block those annoying requests. That is one of the reasons I don't run it any more.
