The color scheme on the dog kind of reminded me of Nibbler from the cartoon. Futurama. But I don't think I would name a dog that. It is cool that you got a new dog. I hope to get one before too long. We are just making sure our finances and schedules can handle it, and that it won't be a bad neighbor dog. I don't want to wait until we get a place with a yard, but if I have to I will. Since Labs are good swimmers you could look up some female olympic swimmers. Sorry for the lack of good names, if I think of any I will let you know.
So did I, better yet...all the girls like it also. So Roxy it is. Thanks coma. and thanks for all the replies...serious and otherwise. Blade, a shame you arent in Houston and dont have a yard....Roxy's sister is still waiting for a home and the price is right(50 bucks). Only difference between them is that Roxy is a little milder in temperment(ie...wasnt hyper as hell) My yard space is ok for now...thats the big disadvantage to big breeds....the yard space required.
You should name the right leg too. And then say to people the dog's name is roxy, but its' right leg is named olajuwon. And they will be like WTF. But you will be very original and dog will become a legend.
My friend just got a lab - boxer mix that looks very much like you dog. He also must have had trouble naming him because right now his name is Blab. I'll try to post some pictures later.
I really wanted to get a dog at my apartment this year and had decided on the name Roxy as a subtle tribute to the Rockets... We ended up not getting a dog, HOWEVER, when my girlfirnd got her new puppy, I suggested Clutch and she used it! !
Any dog I get will be called "Rocket", but I don't want a dog, so I don't know why I'm even considering names...
