Johnston and Murphy is the only place I buy my shoes. I work in an office enviroment and sometimes have to walk the downtown streets for lunch. There are stores around town and I think there is one in the 290 Outlets. I usually shop online. They are comfortable and well made. Look at the stitches when you choose, along with the comfort. these are similar in quality and price to ferragamo's, but imo more comfortable: http://www.fratellirossetti.com/

Check out the DSW store. You should really have more than one pair of decent shoes. If you can afford it, buy a pair of brown shoes and a pair of black ones. The prices at DSW are very reasonable. http://www.dsw.com/
CHANCELLORs. (those of you who know that brand will get it) jk. As an adult who can buy his own shoes now, I usually I go to Kohl's. They have a nice selection of comfortable shoes. I bought the pair I've been wearing now about a year ago from them. I have a pair of dressy shoes that look like "stacys" and a pair I wear to the office every day. I also have some walking shoes I wear on Fridays to the office (almost-casual Friday) or on the weekends. I don't buy shoes often.
