I’d like to see Green start for WB while he is out. Harden plus 4 forwards is a winning combo. It gives Harden a pick a roll threat and he doesn’t have to exert himself as much on the defensive end.

    Harden
    House
    RoCo
    PJ
    Green

That’s a dynamic starting lineup with Rivers, McLemore and Gordon coming off of the bench. Mix in Carroll for some 4/5 depth and roll with that for the first couple of games.

The issue will obviously be when Harden sits. Rivers and Gordon will have to carry the offense whenever Harden is out. Hopefully Gordon can turn into playoff Gordon again but I am having serious doubts about him at the moment.

I say we start green because I’d rather we go smaller when they go to their lauded 3-guard lineup.

Green and Harden will cause problems to start the game and doesn’t clog things up for Westbrook. He will certainly outrun Adams on the break since he never rebounds.

When they bring out their 3-guard line up we should be:

    Covington
    Tucker
    Harden
    Gordon
    Rivers

Suffocate them slowly. Might be the best defensive line up at our disposal since Tucker/Moute/Ariza/Gordon.

They clowned our big men during the regular season. No such luck this time.

Imagine a center that could cross up a defender on the perimeter and get straight to the rim

Imagine 29 teams not really interested in your services when you are this good. Overall talent he’s top 5 on this team.

I do think there is something to teams being scared to go multi-year with the heart issue
