Spell check and grammar check is pretty lame in forums. Unless it's like a Spelling and Grammar Forum (ZzZzz  )

A lot of those players you are calling a lottery bust. I dont think they were picked for skill but more for height hoping they can learn in the years to come, not a bust.

That being said they might not want to part with them.

I'll actually answer the question and wont be and a hole....

I like David Anderson, he could be and nice piece for us, if he gives us what Scola did, will be moving in the right direction

Deke was over 7' and he barely played. Brian Cook is 6'9" and he barely played too. His only significant minutes came in Game 5 30 point blowout loss to the Lakers.

Just because they have height doesn't mean they would get playing time here.

Andersen is a pretty solid player. Had decent stats during the Olympics playing with Australia and also in Euroleague. He can hit the 3 quite well too.

I too think he could be a handy player in the NBA, however I remember hearing how he wanted some stupid amount that he would be unlikely to get right away(I think he wanted $6 mill +). Some of these guys just love the money a little too much, or perhaps want some insurance in case they go to the NBA and are a bust... who knows.

This is a nice post. It's very realistic (minus the trade idea), and it was very humorous too. Out of curiosity, are you refering to the David Anderson that plays for Australia in the Olympics?

On a side note to those complaining about the centre spelling: Please, stop contributing to the stereotype of the ignorant American.

    1. David Andersen is a POWER FORWARD.

    2. David Andersen is UNDER CONTRACT in Spain.

    3. You cannot get David Andersen.

Yeah, the Aussie David Anderson who played in the Olympics. He's very efficient on the offensive end, but supposedly not so good defensively. I guess if he's going to learn defense anywhere it'd be Houston.

LOL I feel like cracking up at the amount of "center not centre!!!" posts in this thread. Sure some of you may be genuinely trying to correct me but to the rest...I hope you realise that there are english language countries outside the country known as the USA...anyways I for some reason always get the word meter and metre mixed up...for years

but to be fair I probably should endeavour to spell it the USA way in the future. Just the word center confuses me all the time

hahaha lol this dude...tries to correct me but goes "none of these players are centres there centers" hahahahahah

    I believe u can...Pepsi Centre perhaps ??? uhhh ohh..

AT THIS POINT THERE ARE NO SUPERSTAR CENTERS TO BE HAD...THAT BEING SAID, I WOULD GO WITH A COMBANATION OF TWO FROM THAT LIST TO MAN THE CENTER POSITION. MY PICKS WOULD BE BONSU (REBOUNDING) AND ANDERSON (EXP AND OFFENSE) I THINK WILLIAMS COULD BE HAD AS WELL....CENTER BY COMMITTIEE....IF ANYTHING WE WILL HAVE EXCELLENT BACKUPS FOR WHEN WE DO FIND A QUALITY CENTER....
