Shannon Sharpe called this the Game of the Century. apparently, he didn't see the NE/DAL game 3 weeks ago.

This deserves to be called game of the century, but I don't see the Colts doing much better than the Cowboys did a few weeks ago. The Redskins are a solid football team, with a good defense and maybe the best secondary in football, and they got beat 52-7. These Patriots are absloutely incredible, this is the best team ever. 30-2 TD/int ratio for Brady in 8 gms, that is unfathomable.

I don't think the Colts defense is as good as either the Cowboys or the Redskins, but the offense is better.

    Patriots 41 Colts 21

Good point. The Cowboys were also at the height of their momentum. Even had a 2nd half lead for a quick minute. I go with the Patriots in this one. Everyone talks about their offense, but look what they do defensively. Were was Tomlinson in that game!? Indy has looked far more beatable than them.

Early lines have the Patriots 4.5 to 6 point favorites with a 57 O/U.

Patriots are sooooooooooo gonna cover that number, and I would take the over as well. 6 point favorite??? They just beat a good Redskin team, with one of the best secondaries and defenses in football, 52-7. 52-7. 52-7. The Patriots are gonna crush Indy by at the very least 2 TDs.

Yes, I am sure the colts suck and will be run out of the building like the last AFC championship game.

Of course, that game featured the incredibly talented New England WR corp of Jabar Gaffney, Reche Caldwell and Troy Brown. I've got a hunch that Randy Moss, Wes Welker and Donte Stallworth might be a slight upgrade.

Also, Adalius Thomas is a major boost to their speed on defense.

I am not saying NE will not win, just have problem talk lik colts doesn't even belong on the same field as the patriots, in fact I said they should be favored.

I think the Colts will win, better run game. Adai > Maroney
they'll beat the Patriots with these super long drives that will kill the clock.

I dont see how anyone can pick the Colts to beat the Patriots...anyone actually watch the Patriots games? Im living in Boston right now, so Im "stuck" watching them...Ive never seen an offense move so effortlessly. Heck, their punter only punts like twice a game.

I dont see the Colts slowing them down...

Pats are unstoppable. Bellicheck is making a statement this season that he is the greatest coach of all time and this is the greatest team of all time. They will go undefeated and win the Super Bowl.

52-7 sealed the deal for me. Like it has been said on this board, Skins have a great secondary and were shredded by the Pats today. The Colts are good, but aren't at the same level as the Pats right now.

Can somebody just slap this logo at the beginning of the telecast and not bore everybody with the rest of the regular season and playoffs?

It's funny because as a football fan I appreciate Championship sunday more than the Super Bowl Sunday. The Super Bowl has turned into too much of an pop cultural event where people are more concerned with who's signing the national anthem, who's performing at halftime, and what commercials were the best. Too much pomp and circumstance whereas the AFC and NFC championships are just about fighting for the right to play for the title.

Oh and give me the Colts winning by an Vinatieri field goal, they'll probably be an underdog. I don't know when the last time a defending super bowl champion was a dog at home.

I think New England is a better team, Tom Brady is better than Peyton.
Did you see him rushing for 2 TDs, Peyton cant run with the ball.

The redskins were the best defense in the NFC, and number 5 in all the league, and they still scored 52 (including one rushing TD for the backup QB)

The Pats are a powerful offense, and a great defense.

The Colts need to give the Pats a dose of their own medicine. Spread the field out. Make the 6-10 yard passes your bread and butter. Use the pass to set up the run. Addai is a bruiser. Hopefully he can run those juicing old farts right over.
