Wtf is up with UH shooting halfcourt 3's???

They skip driving to the lane and opt to give it to a guy, who can't even shoot free throws, to throw a hail mary from half court.

Penders = fired = die = me happy.

Since Maryland got their lead up to 10, it's just kind of stayed there.

lol all it takes is one screen and our defensive *****s its pants

and we're going to foul out their entire team but it won't matter since we can't hit a free throw

I dunno why, but this made me chuckle a bit. It's just getting kinda sad now watching us miss.

My dad is watching it with me and he was like "Oh that's a free kick!"
I don't know what he's thinking. He gets amazed when he sees UH players shoot from near half court for 3's.

Hope the conference tourney run didn't save Penders' job.

Coleman should make it in the league.

That is an insane first step and he can finish.

This is what I was most worried about. He's also like 60-something years old right? I remember a few years back he had that heart attack or something while on the sidelines and had to be taken out by a stretcher. I think UH were playing Rice or something. He should not be coaching, for his health, and UH's sake.

Coleman will b gone in the late first round.

Tom Penders can go to hell.

    Vasquez is overrated.

Jordan Williams got to eat at the big kids table tonight for free, but he's going to find that easy money hard to come by against MSU.

I predict a Spartan blowout if these Terps show up next round.

    It's official. Lost by 12.

I take a little consolation in the fact that if Maryland plays like today again, they will get hosed by Michigan St. (I think next round is Michigan St.)

Not sure about that. Jermaine Taylor also led the NCAA in scoring playing for a CUSA team and he dropped to the second round. Wouldn't be surprised to see the same happen to Coleman. Coleman averaged more points but Taylor shot the ball significantly better.

I got fooled. I thought McNeil could give us some quality, because he played o.k against C-USA "big-men" in the C-USA tourney. Washington isn't close to game shape. We could have been in the game if we could have shot 75 percent from the line and been outrebounded by only 10 instead of 20...course thats a little like saying we could have won if a prime Hakeem and Drexler had been on the squad.

Mich St. had a close game against New Mexico St., the #12 seed, that came down to the final minute. I would still pick the Terps over the Spartans.

It wouldn't have taken Hakeem to make Jordan Williams actually work for a rebound or a bucket... hell, Chuck Hayes could've done that.

I'll take your word for it, I didn't get to watch their game. However it could be that New Mexico St. showed up for work today and those two teams just had an incredible back and forth game.

I think any team with a decent post game could've defeated UH today. I hope you're wrong and Michigan St. thrashes Maryland
