That's Gene Hackman's voice in the Lowe's commercial, right?

for real. march madness is much more of a hangout type thing than just college basketball. it's an event the whole country gets into. can't we just move it back?

and wisconsin and oregon are about to mess up my nearly perfect bracket where i've only missed 1 second round game so far. florida losing would completely destroy me since i have them winning it all, but i hate them so i hope they lose anyway.

I'm a huge college basketball fan, but I really love the fans of smaller, basketball schools. As a group, they know the game better than anyone. Southern Illinois goes into a trap against Virginia Tech, and the fans start chanting "Turn It Over". You'd never see that at an NBA game or even a UT game.

I am praying right now for UNLV, Winthrop and Purdue wins, this tourney needs more upsets...

And besides that, I have Winthrop in my final four.

I'd disagree that they know the game better than NBA fans or fans of some schools. However, they are much more organized.

dammit wisconsin comes back from the dead to take a 5 point lead but now they've let unlv tie it up again.

so all of a sudden al horford is hakeem olajuwon? just throwing up ridiculous shots and making them. and now it's over after florida gets about 3 lucky shots in a row to go. that's why they're so tough to beat.

Is it only me? I am not so impressed with Noah. He has no offensive game to speak of. I would put him in the same category as David Lee. he will be a good NBA player, but top 5 picks? I am not so sure...

are you kidding me wisconsin? you got up 54-53 and and go down 5 like 30 seconds later. you freakin' suck. at least i think i have oregon in the elite 8 in most brackets. now they need to hold on.

good job fouling a guy on a 3 wisconsin. every time someone chases someone off a pick and they shoot a 3 it seems like it's 50/50 they're going to run into them. why can people just not run into the guy? it's not that hard. anyone on my team who did that would have to run so much they wouldn't be able to catch up to the guy the next time. such a frustrating foul.

Aww...guess the dream is ending early for Winthrop :(

...There goes 1/4 of my bracket. OH WELL.

Hopefully OSU wins it all so that it'll overrule my "George Mason" instincts :/

That was an incredibly disappointing end to the season for Wisconsin. They were #1 overall just a couple of weeks ago. And they struggle with TAMU-CC and lose to UNLV? Pathetic.

I've been saying this all along, even after the tournament last year when he was still deciding on whether to come back or not.

Now I know why Billy King heads to China ;) Now I can believe that YI Jianlian may be better than Noah. They have about the same body type, but Yi is much more polished at the offensive end.

I'm very impressed with Randolph Morris.

I know he's a free agent, technically, and could sign with any NBA team at any time. I wish the Rockets would make a move on this guy. We could even use him for a playoff run! :D

I haven't seen tons of him, but he reminds me of a more talented Chuck Hayes. Is this a decent comparison?

That was a big three to end the half for Texas. USC came out on fire, and UT was a turnover machine, but we started settling down as the half progressed and USC cooled off. Hopefully it will remain like that in the second half.
