sosa pretty much sucked ass the last 3 or so minutes. he was great up until this but threw a pass away, blew 2 free throws, took a terrible shot there out of the timeout (uhh, drive?). not even close on his halfcourt heave. man, i picked louisville just to be different b/c everyone had a&m in the final 4 (i usually pick what i don't want to happen) and l'ville blows it in the last few minutes.
Time to fill the Alamodome up with Ags! Wish I still lived in TX Go Texas and Kansas. I want 3 Big 12 teams in the final four!

2 things. what was the guard for vandy doing after he grabbed that rebound? he just happily dribbled the entire clock out even though he could have called a timeout w/ 2 seconds left. it wasn't even him who realized that maybe they shouldn't just end the game dribbling in the backcourt. you know you need more points than the other team, right? and second, w/ .5 seconds, not that anything is going to work but why try the long pass instead of just a half court shot. even if you catch the long pass by the time you land from jumping all the time will have run out. throwing it to a guard for a quick release has a much better chance. but everyone always tries the laettner play.
good job giving up a wide open 3 when you're up 3 vandy. thaddaway to think it through. clearly a 2 would've been worse.

that pitt guy with some serious clanging on those 2 ft's. i picked duke to win that game so i don't really care who wins. man we've had osu/xavier OT, l'ville/a&m last second game, now vandy in double OT and vcu/pitt in OT. and now vandy gives up another 3. did these guys have to actually be smart enough to get into vandy? you're up 5, let him have the freakin' 2! and now they're choking on their ft's. couldn't won this easily. well they won, but they almost screwed it up and almost threw that last pass away. yay, the 6 seed i picked made it to the sweet 16.
