Neither, i expect both to lose tommorow or sunday. Obviously no one expects it, but the lower seeds this year havent done as well. If anyone I see Winthrop being it, senior squad, though they havent gotten out of the first rd till this year.

uh, ohio state, i've got you in the finals. wake up. going from up 41-39 to down 47-41 isn't gonna get it done. and now a TO. F this, they're gonna lose. now some Xavier scrub is just draining 3's left and right with oden right in his face.

on the plus side, i don't really like ohio state and it would be cool if durant got further than oden.

this is one of the lame things about the tourney. some team is awesome for 30+ games but then they face some team that starts throwing in 3's with hands in their face with the shot clock running down and some guy goes 7-7 being guarded by the best defensive guy in the game and the weaker team is moving on for a chance at the title.

and now tOSU is bricking ft's, cage has doubled his scoring average, etc.

I'm a Big Ten fan, and I'm loving this game. There are so many reasons to root for Xavier in this game, I hope they can hold on.

damn you oden for a missing more ft's. damn you ohio state player who missed that potential game-winning 3 just now. damn the xavier version of christian laettner who can't miss a shot or a ft all game.

I wouldn't go that far. Didn't Oden foul out?

oh yeah, when ohio state got that steal with about a minute left, did anyone think the osu guy pulled a michael finley and was out of bounds? i mean i'll take the call, but i didn't see a replay and it seemed like it live.

how did they not call an intentional foul on Oden at the very end? He slammed the Xavier guy to the floor, not necessary.

Too bad Xavier choked. You can't have the ball and lose a 59-50 lead with 3 minutes left. Great comeback by the Buckeyes. I still don't think OSU makes it to the Final Four.

i'm glad they didn't. if college refs all over the place are going to allow muggings at the end of games just so they don't determine the outcome then they don't need to be calling intentional fouls to do it either. i think oden pushed the guy too hard out of frustration and b/c he had to foul quickly and i think the guy caught the rebound pretty close to the baseline and was standing more upright that normal so the push took him off his feet whereas it would've normally just knocked him back a step or two. while they could've called intentional, i'm in favor of anything that doesn't actually have anything to do with the action on the court not deciding the game (i.e. the fact that the foul was too hard didn't have anything to do with a team trying to score or keep the other team from scoring, he was going to foul him and send him to the line no matter what). the less judgment calls the refs make to affect the outcome the better as far as i'm concerned.
