Yeah if he had the consistent motor on defense overall 1 would be a debate, and I’m fine with the idea that Banchero may slide in draft due to perceived talent vs the other 2 - the kid is going to be a monster regardless. Built for the current trend of Bully Ball.

I know Chet came out strong yesterday but Jabari balled and has a smooth shot. I'd be happy with either but I feel Jabari is the dude.

Mark Williams is super mobile and skilful. Seems to have as much potential as any C in this draft

we'd be really lucky with either. I have both slightly above Paolo and Ivey but again I'd be really happy with any of the top 4. I wouldn't debate much about the order of preference if yours is different than mine. mine is chet, jabari, banchero, then ivey. I'm struggling to figure out who #5 would be if we lose the lotto. we really HAVE to finish with the worst record to avoid that scenario as much as possible. AJG, Murray, Mathurin, Duren, Eason, Sharpe if he declares? lots to debate at #5!

For a presence felt all over the floor, those highlights were almost all in the restricted circle with the rare venture into the rest of the paint or low block.

lol turns out this is what has been the case since day 1. all the top 3 are ballers.

the nice surprise is Ivey which is a good consolation prize should we land #4.

    Sudoko if we get #5

Assuming all 3 are on the board when our Nets pick is on the clock, who do you take?

    - Kessler
    - Duren
    - Williams

Seems like they are emerging as the clear top 3 among Centers in the class, and all should go somewhere in the #10-20+ range

I prefer Kessler bc I like his upside as an outside shooter
I have Duren second for his elite athleticism
Williams is third for me, but would also make an excellent complement at C w Sengun

yeah I'm hoping someone emerges as a clear cut #5. the tournament, combine, individual workouts, will all affect the 5-10 spots. the top 4 seem to be a lock.

I think AJG would be a clear cut #5 (maybe even in the 3-5 range) if he didn't have that injury history. could work himself back in that range with a great tourney run. If duren or Mathurin dominate the tournament on the way to the final 4 I think their narrative changes too.

    12 games left.

    17 wins

I think the most important thing is not to stay the worst that this point: Murray, Duren, Griffin and Sharpe (if he enters) are close in value. The most important thing is to stay bottom 3 and have the highest odds and Chet and Jabari. Those guys are the Crown Jewels. OKC plays Orlando tomorrow. OKC winning is the better outcome at this point.

great question. I don't think duren will be there. he's a tier above the others. I'd take him confidently above the others. I think he has a chance to work his way into the mid-high lotto.

I agree with you about Kessler being above Williams here for the shooting ability. I'd love to come away with jabari and Kessler! keep the culture vibes going. jabari or Williams would be great too since I think jabari might need a rim protector and lob threat next to him. I also think banchero and duren setting screens for Jalen would be amazing. Jalen with Ivey and duren would be the most authentic trio in the league, but Kessler spreading the floor for them to attack the rim is great too. I see chet eventually as a center so I'd hope to pair him with an athletic defensive forward like one of the Baylor guys.

Jabari- great fit next to Sengun/Green

Chet- great fit next to Sengun/Green

Ivey- has real star potential due to dribble drive quickness. Good fit with Green and any big.

Those are the top 3 guys in this draft by far.

Give us some competitive games and let the young inexperience kick in at the end to lose us the game. I love it.

I think Chet clearly has the highest potential in this draft…if he didn’t make KD look like Terry Crews, there wouldn’t even be a conversation between him and Jabari or anyone else in this draft

Kentucky and Iowa going down in the 1st round really hurts my basketball viewing enjoyment today when I’m trying to check out prospects and see how they perform on the large stage. No Keegan Murray and no TyTy Washington.

No LSU and Tari Eason tomorrow.

Duren in a landslide, but no way he slides that low. Not even sure the other two do, but it is Kessler over Williams for me. I like them both just think Willams will never develop any outside threat where Kessler can probably get to a 33-35% 3 pt shooter. That being said if we end up with Ivey as a consolation we should move mountains to move up and grab Duren or Keegan.
