You keep saying no one says these things and I keep proving you wrong. How much more do you want? You have terrible takes, constantly. Paolo’s comp by most sites is Julius Randle
I’m not pushing anything, I’m telling you it’s been said. Not one site has ever put Paolo and Lebron in same sentence in player types
Banchero has been compared to Julius Randle, Carlos Boozer, David West, Tatum, Carmelo, Blake Griffin. Some of those are high side comps. No one has ever compared him to Lebron like your stupid ass has
Idgaf what pick they use.. Or perhaps trade a future 2nd rnder... But grab a high IQ, pass 1st PG to develop ... Even if he's a career backup... Having him play 12-15 mpg would help immensely down the line, once the core becomes cohesive ...
You are just trolling now, it's amazing that you just ignored the site you posted yourself that comped him to Kristaps. I'm done, not going to let your undying need to engage with me derail this thread. If you want to continue to look like an idiot go right ahead.
I’m fine with a peak Porzingis comp. It doesn’t bother me. No one is trolling anyone except you. Find one site/expert/scout that has said Paolo comp is Lebron. You’re an idiot, a delusional and narcissistic one at that.
Also, I’m not going to let you keep talking down on Chet and comparing Paolo to Lebron without calling you out on it. It’s your choice
I think you should watch tape before yapping off. That you don't know that Chet has the feet, skills and IQ to turn defense>offense in transition is embarrassing.
Williams can defend perimeter and switch better than Gobert. Not quite as long (7'7 vs 7'9 wingspans).
I'll take the Porzingas comp. And Porzingas had nowhere near as good TS%, 3P%, EFG%, DRTG, FT%, BLK, TRB, AST or PPG coming into the draft. Porzingas with elite defense would be tremendous.
So you would draft Porzingas at the top of this draft, with these other guys being available. So you are happy to draft a role player, maybe 3rd option in the top 5? Porzingas did not play against the WCC, so those stats don't mean much.
It would be KPJ-Green-KMJ-Banchero-Wood with Sengun and Dyson off the bench. The defense would be horrid but the gameplan would be to try to outscore opponents and push the pace as high as possible. KMJ at the 3 gives some weakside shot blocking which mitigates our porous frontcourt. Dyson-Christopher-Sengun off the bench is a nice 8 man rotation. Last two spots can be random shooters. Dyson and Christopher gives a lot of flexibility for defense in the second unit to mix and match at the 1/2/3 spots. If you keep Garuba/Tate then you have more defense flexibility. The one thing working with this team is that we would be anything but undersized. The smallest person would be KMJ or Christopher, both who play way above their size.
A healthy peak Porzingis is 22/8 with 2 blocks a game and shoots 39% from 3. That would be completely acceptable from any of the top 3. Realistically only Chet and Jabari can give you those numbers. Key word is health
You quote the wrong post? WTF does transition anything have to do with my comment? Keep deflecting. Stone hit a home run last year and you can’t give the credit due because you think you’re smarter than him. That’s what is really embarrassing.
So wait? You are in here ******** on Banchero for the Randle comp, who is a much better player than Kristops, but you are perfectly happy with Holmgren being Kristaps. What kind of sense does that make. If you think Holmgren is Kristaps and Banchero is Randle you take Banchero every time. @D-rock Am I right?
Huh? I said peak healthy Porzingis you would take. Not current. And no Randle is not better than peak healthy Porzingis. Regardless, Chet and Jabari have far better defensive upside than Porzingis. It’s a lazy comp, mainly because it’s two tall skinny white guys.
