I can't help you if you don't think Texas' win at a neutral site was better than Oklahoma's win at home vs Tech or Tech's win at home vs Texas. If Texas beat OU at DKR, then it would really be even IMO, and then I wouldn't know what to think. I feel like Texas winning at a neutral site should help them, but I guess it won't, and that's too bad. Ultimately though, there is no good way to decide this except for a freakin playoff of the top 8 teams.
I'm fine with that. It's just that everytime stuff like this happens, everybody just cares about their own team's fortunes (I mean, ok, the Big 12 championship is a 3 way tie. sh-t happens), and we forget about how bad this BCS system of deciding a champion is overall. btw, I realize I'm preaching to the choir here, but more casual fans do comprise the majority.

Wow I don't know what to say Tech had a great chance to put us in the map in the college football world and came out like this. I can't say I thought we were going to win, but it would have been nice making a game of it. IMO OU is clearly the best team in the big 12 south. I know Texas beat OU but OU was off that game and wasn't healthy. I am sure if they played again this season OU would win. As for Tech we will probably finish in the 3 way tie but be stuck in the cotton or holiday bowl. But in the end I am proud of my team going .....-1 is a great accomplishment when being the 3rd option of the big 2 schools. I still am not sure who is better between Texas or Tech, but OU is at a totally different level. Congrats Sooners fans for the butt kicking. As always Wreck Em Tech!!!

Tech should of never been ranked at #2 and tonight it proved it. I still believe Texas is the better team out of the 3, but we will see how the rankings turn out. I would love to see a Florida vs Texas national championship game. Overall, a great year for the Big12 conference.
