I don't know for sure, but I think I saw somewhere that if you hit one of the L1 or L2 buttons (or perhaps R1 or R2??) that it brings up the stadium options, as well as the weather and all that.

I think I saw it somewhere....I'll have to check next time I play.

Cool, Baqui. Some friends and I will be getting together for the Arkansas game as well. We are thinking about renting an RV vs. trying to find a hotel, because I've heard lots of them are already booked in the Fayetville area. With an RV, there is a place you can pay for parking around the baseball stadium, I think, and just stay there in the tailgating section for the weekend or so, I think. We're still trying to figure it all out, really. I'm really pumped for the game, though. I'm hoping we can exact a little revenge, and I'm somewhat comforted by the fact that Arkansas lost 10 of their 11 offensive starters from last year's team, although Matt Jones is still there, and he's the one that killed us!

And it would be awesome to get up to C-bus for that Ohio St. game. I might have to see what kind of opportunities my "ticket connection" has for that game.

even though it may have been, i haven't seen this answered in here. how much room does a dynasty take up on your memory card in 2k5? is it up from the 2564 of 2k4.

    jungle,
Arkansas should be a fun roadtrip. I'm not sure where the hell I'm staying. I guess I should start looking into that. The tailgating should be fun though. I heard they're going to do a tribute to the 1969 Texas-Arkansas game. Should be an easy win for Texas, but remember the yellowtoothed clapper is still our coach. And I don't think that GD's has yet grown a set of balls.

    4chuckie,
You'll have to show me all the tailgating spots in '05 before Jim Tressel lays the hurt on Coach Takeaknee.

    Nuggets4,
I've survived 5 years of Texas-OU, so I think I'll be able to handle the Buffalo fans.

ACtually, it's the select button. Push that while setting the teams for the exhibition matchup. Found that out by playing again tonight.

Baqui- If you are looking for a decent read on that '69 game, check out "Horns, Hogs, & Nixon Coming: Texas vs. Arkansas in Dixie's Last Stand." It's a pretty solid book about the game and all the social ramifications at the time. It's by Terry Frei. I read it this summer, and it was cool to read in depth about all the people involved in Longhorn history and that national title.

The game is going to be extremely pivotal in the season, though. If Texas can win that, I think the only tough games left, in my opinion, are OU, at Tech, and then either at CU or home for Mizzou. Not many other teams to worry about on the schedule. But we are far from invincible! :)

Well, duh! Why didn't I think of that?!? :D

It's a little confusing because that option doesn't come until the next screen in all the other years games. I knew it was still there somewhere. I guess I could have actually read the directions but I refuse to do so. After all, I'm a guy and I don't need directions!

He he he, for real. :) I don't even know if I saw it in the directions, but I did "accidentally" push the help button once on the team select screen, and I think it said it there, too. :)

I just survived an insane game with OU. I'm Texas in my dynasty, and working on my first season. Anyway, I was up 6-3, and missed a seemingly crucial field goal in the 4th qtr. OU gets the ball back and throws a 60 yd. bomb to Clayton to take a 10-6 lead with 29 seconds left! I'm pissed! I get the ball back, and do nothing on the kick return. The first play from scrimmage, I unleash a 76 yd bomb to Limas Sweed for the lead! I convert the PAT, and am able to hold OU for the final 16 seconds for a 13-10 win. It was a total defensive domination by both sides. I probably finished with about 150 total yards or so. Also, it finished as my #1 greatest game, with a point total of 2095 or something like that.

Anyway, still undefeated with #12 Mizzou up next. They have yet to lose, either.

While playing NCAA today they showed the crowd and someone had a Happy Halloween sign and then later they had a Trick or Treat sign. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else. Me and my roommate tripped out- i guess the computer knows its Halloween
