the fact that something couldn't have been worked out to get a Bama/Texas match up is a damn shame... i would kill to see that game. btw, i think that ole miss/tech match up is a good... ole miss has a solid D, and we all know about tech's O. i just don't trust tech further than i can throw them if they're not playing in lubbock
Georgia Tech will lay the smack down on LSU and will have beaten UGA, LSU, and Miss St. of the SEC. Assuming they do win that game, they should end up as the highest ranked ACC team even though they weren't able to play in the conference title game thanks to a loss to VT. (But at least it was H2H tiebreaker, so no controversy)
I also agree tcu and boise state is also most intriguing matchup. I would've like to see Texas vs Alabama or Texas Tech vs Penn State/USC or something too but oh well .
I don't understand why Texas has to play Ohio State instead of one of the teams between 4-9. Is this just what the voters decided or something?
I'm still trying to figure out how in the hell Ole Miss is in the Cotton? Fine, Tech can't go to a BCS game on a technicality. But we couldn't get a better match-up than this? The worst part is even if we do blow them out, it won't change much of anything to our current ranking. Pathetic.
The SEC isn't very strong this year, so Ole Miss really was the best pick. With Florida and Alabama both in the BCS, the next pick goes to the Capital One, and that's Georgia. After those three, Ole Miss is the best of the lot.
Ole Miss is a typical Houston Nutt team: they show up for the big games, but lose some games that they should have won.

mike leach is too smart for his own good. what a dumb call to go for it and even dumber play call. leach is coaching his last game. i predict stoops to denver and leach to ou. tech may end up with tsu's coach or something. worked for rice!
I suspect Tech will come back to win this with a crazy 4th quarter. But the B12 has not been impressive at all in bowl season thus far.
Leach pisses me off I know he was too busy looking for another job then preparing his team. We look awful since the Oklahoma State game and decided to shut it down.
