What's the best way to get the rosters for the PS2 version? I know there some earlier posts about it and something about the guy ripping people off.

Has anyone personally gotten it through someone? How much does it cost?

None of the PS2 rosterfiles are out yet. I'll post again when they are. There are 2 ways to get the files. One is to have a sharkport/x-port or action replay. Basically these are USB peripherals that connect your PC to your PS2 and allow transfering of files to and from your memory card. The second is to send your card or money for a new card to one of the roster makers (I assume they all do this) The rosters I use can be found at http://www.psxsports.com/ .You can find the information on that site for the mail method. I'm not sure of the address of the other rosters, but I'm sure others could pass those along.

edit: You may have to use the contact link on that page and send the guy an email about the mail method. His forums are getting hammered and you can't get the info on mailing him your card from them right now.

If you've played Madden, it's similar to those preseason drills but they are designed more towards college football so it's like practicing the option play on offense and defending against the option.

Hehe...IGN re-reviewed the PSP version of the game since the review copy they had (which is supposed to be the "final build") didn't have the bug that was in the actual retail version:

It now has a 6.9 instead of a 8.3. Way to go EA.

Castor- www.fkrosters.com have them out already. You just send it to him and make a donation and he'll do it for you.

Has anyone gone through this guy before?

I've had a couple of friends go through him. The guy is legit. I'll send him a card when Madden 2007 gets released.

Right know I'm more concerned with figuring a way to delete one of the DT for UT and adding some of the incoming freshman that EA didn't include. My problem is the 70 man roster limit lets me create only 2 additional players.

I've had friends use him before and I'm going to use him this year. He's on the up and up.

I just discovered that XBox and PS2 don't have class edits on the players already in the game. On 360, a few CU players are no longer on the team (injuries) so I was able to turn them into true freshmen. I'm LOVING that.

Better to say who they put in. Sergio Kindle, Jevan Snead, J'Marcus Webb, Roy Watts, Eddie Jones, Lamarr Houston, Vondrell Mghee, and Britt Mitchell.

Deon Beasley, Chykie Brown, Jared Norton, and Buck Burnette are the biggest ommisions.

Edit: And no 2005 NC Longhorns on the historic team. Hell, no VY on the all Longhorn team either.

So i got the game on psp last night.

I've heard about the running game glitch, where it counts from the point of contact. SO if you break a tackle at the 8 yard line and run it up to the 35, it'll record it as down at the 8 yrd line.

well lots of people must have gotten a different build than the one i bought at best buy.

all in all i love the game. only complaint is I believe the dynasty mode last only 10 seasons...

    sound/graphics/presentation 9/10
    game play 8/10
    value 8/10

Damn, are you one of those people that play all 30 seasons? I only know one person who does that.

How are y'all liking the momentum thing? Do you think it's too big of a factor, not a big enough factor, just right? I'm playing Ohio State next in my dynasty, so maybe I'll have a better idea then of how it plays out and if it feels like it's too overwhelming one way or the other.

I'm using Texas right now, and starting Jevan Snead. I wanted to get Colt McCoy some PT in the North Texas game, but never got around to it. I also started Jermichael Finley over Tweedy, but both see plenty of the field in two TE sets.

Anyone else with feedback, comments, concerns after a week of having the game? I had family in town, so this is really the first I've been able to play it much. And, I've been trying to get a lot of the names in the game, edit numbers if needed, etc.
