Anybody have this for PSP? I'm having a hard time figuring out whether I should buy it for PS2 or PSP. Maybe ya'll can help me out. PSP: 1. I never play this thing and I feel like it's completely going to waste. I want buy it for PSP just so I'll play the damn thing. 2. I'll be going out of town for 2 weeks later this summer, this trip includes 15 hour plane rides there and back (big factor). PS2: 1. I played the hell out of the last NCAA games and this wouldn't be any different. 2. I could play with friends when they come over. 2. It's $30.00
get the ps2 version. as for your psp, buy some cheap used movies for it for your trip, then sell it once you get back.
From what I've read, the PSP version seems to be the best portable football game ever, but that isn't saying much. It has a few bugs in it that aren't in the console versions, and even more roster errors. Plus the normal problems with controls and downgraded graphics, features and stuff like that. If you're not playing your PSP much, then you probably wouldn't want the PSP version, which is apparently the most expensive of all the versions (at least at Fry's). Maybe get the PS2 version for $30 now and then get the PSP version later if you find yourself wanting to play it on the go. I'm somewhat considering getting Madden for it now that it is in the $15-$20 range. If you want to buy something to play on your PSP, tell me what you like and I might be able to suggest some games for cheap. Plus the $20 Greatest Hits collection starts pretty soon (like a week from now).
What firmware does your PSP currently have? If it has 1.5 and you are willing to sell it, I might be interested.
Hell, that just means we're improving. HAWK LOVE! I have a question for those with PS2/Xbox. With the players, can you edit what year of eligibility they are? I can on the 360 and am in HEAVEN! CU's roster isn't too bad, but we have two players who quit due to injuries and another who quit due to sucking. I was able to turn them all into freshmen that are incoming. Gotta love that new feature.

man I went home and played a few games against a friend and this game is great. There is still some learning I have to do and still get new to the new button scheme but we had a lot of fun last night. And OSU is just completely stacked. I played my friend and he had Texas last night and I won 56-21. Ted Ginn had 4 TD's with one being a kick off return for a TD. And both Troy Smith and Pittman went for over 100 yards rushing each. They are by far the best team on the game. And did anyone else notice how bad they overrated UofH. I mean I am a HUGE Cougar fan but giving them a B+ over all and a A- on defense is pushing it a little bit. I am thinking there must have been some Cougar alumni working on this game.
PSP. I agree with you. I actually got two of them for xmas last year. I should have just sold both of them i rarely even touch the thing. It sits in the corner collecting dust. They need to start coming out with better games or the thing is going on eBay. I have several games, but never play them, because they kinda suck. I am going to buy NCAA 07 for it. It's probably going to be really really slow. I love my ds-lite though! TraumaCenter is awesome
I feel you dude. I got mine as a present from my mom and I would feel kind of bad selling it, but for right now, I'm using it as a memory device for Socom 3. Making it a $300 memory stick. I do have a ton of old school games on it though as I put a emulator on it. RC posted that they are coming out with a greatest hits collection. I'm much more willing to buy $20 games vs. $40 for PSP. wakkoman is interested in purchasing one if you're serious about selling it.
just read ign's review of the 360 version of the game, and i came away incredibly disappointed...should i return my 360 version and get the ps2 version instead? has anyone played both versions of it?

EA has been pretty accurate rating our team over the years. This year they went out on a limb and predicted our defense to be tops in the conference. Pretty shocking considering our offense is top 25 just about every year. I hope their expectations hold up though. This could be a big year.
They rushed the XBOX 360 version to market so there's still a few bugs with regards to gameplay from what I hear. But the graphics should more than make up for it, right? This is the 5th generation NCAA football game for PS2, so it's just about perfect now with all the tweaks EA has made since 2002.
WTF? I just called the Fry's in Austin and they said the price is now $49.99. I was literally about to walk out the door and go buy it. Doesn't Best Buy do a price match? Would anyone mind scanning their receipt so I could show Best Buy? I'm pretty pissed about this.
just go find mondays ad from frys and show the people at best buy and they wont just price match, theyll BEAT the price
valid one day only. why would you be upset that its no longer 20 bucks cheaper? it was a one day promotion. don't know if bestbuy will honor that since essentially that is no longer the price
