Typical Obama supporter dirty tricks by not releasing Lake county and trying to delay Hillary's victory speech. Obama proved nothing tonight, but that he can get the black vote. No news there. Color me unimpressed. The race goes on to two VERY Hillary friendly states -- WV and KY. Should get interesting. And Hillary still has the popular vote lead...
Even if it looks incredibly likely now that she'll win this one, I can't believe she just claimed victory knowing very well it's not certain. James Carville was right. She has serious balls.
You know, when you're not really feeling the "HO HO HO, LIBERAL SCUM!" behind what you're posting, it comes through somehow. It's like being able to hear a smile on the phone. You should hold off with this weak stuff until a thread arises where you feel on solid ground.
Here is one example of NO DOUBT many examples of Obama supporters cheating and ignoring decorum. These people just have no respect for laws or proper etiquette. Just none. They just do whatever they want with no regard for campaign laws. They think the rules don't apply to them I guess. This is why the caucus results are so dubious. We just can't turn a blind eye to Obama supporters' intimidation of voters and campaign ethics breaches. We can't. That's not how a first world country operates. This isn't Zimbabwe, where elections are stolen and votes don't count (see Michigan, Florida).
Texx, this really makes you look bad because it almost appears that you welcome these sorts of things and bomb threats at Obama offices excite you. If this is all you have left to ruffle the feathers of Obama supporters then it appears you have lost it.
Actually, she doesn't. Even if you count Florida. And only her votes in Michigan. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/democratic_vote_count.html Up to date, including Indiana and NC totals.
...and in other news... Obama, by losing the state he called the tiebreaker, only further proves that he JUST CAN'T CLOSE, and that he has failed in extending his coaliation beyond blacks and latte liberals.
In other primary news, B.J. Lawson, a small-government, non-interventionist Republican from North Carolina's 4th Congressional District, trounced his neocon opponent, Augustus Cho, with 71% of the vote. I donated to the guy and really believe in him. He might have a tough road against the Democrat incumbent in November, but he's a much better candidate.
I can't imagine Hillary is going anywhere. Another win tonight with Indiana, and some favorable states upcoming. Let's let the process run its course
I'm amazed that John King of CNN is surprised by Lake County late vote count. The national media talking heads are truly ignorant about the state. He expects an "explanation" on why things are taking so long as if it's never happened before. Oh brother!
Clinton's lead is down to 20,000 now in Indiana. It's getting interesting. CBS news has to be sweating bullets right now. Wasn't it them that called Florida for Gore?
That's true, but according to some folks around here, those votes shouldn't could since they're from predominantly black counties.
One good thing about this vote is tonight's national scrutiny could force Lake County to count their ballots faster in the future and end this decades-long pain in the neck for Indiana. The mayor of Hammond took the edge of his words but he clearly slammed county officials when he said the results for his city and several others were promptly turned in shortly after 6:00 p.m.
