Why is he a PF? He certainly has the size of a Center. He also lacks the range that is usually expected from a PF. He camps around the basket on offense just like a Center.
Howard's numbers have alot to do with our awesome defense against him. I know he doesn't have a great post game, but that isn't the entire reason. You can't give Yao all the credit.
This is a very interesting question to ponder. Is Yao really at trhe peak, Hakeem peaked around 93-96 in his 9-12th years in the league. Barring injury - which with Yao is like saying barring that an alcoholic won't drink - I ma not so sure he won't progress his game further. Bigs take longer to season. Thoughts???
There's no doubt yao is a decent center, but the claim about yao being the best center will definitely be deeply doubted by the other centers like Dwright and Shaq. Yao is the best in his contemporary which doesn't include shaq or Dwright.
