I know i didn't give this show anywhere near my full range of attention due to the fact I was flipping between this and the Bulls game, but this episode seemed to suck harder then previous ones. Still some "haha" moments, but ugh am I the only one that gets tired of Amy Poehler? I want to see more Tom Haverford and Ron Swanson. My funniest part of the show was when Ron started grillin the committee and asking them if this was north korea, etc. He is great, and they need to give him and Aziz more screen time and chemistry time.
Amy Poehler's face time to the camera is just getting painful. Less of her would be a good thing for this show because the other characters have potential.
Ron is definitely my favorite character and Tom my 2nd. I laugh every time they have a scene. They need more airtime On Amy Poehler's character: I feel like she is just too much like Michael Scott except that I root for him. He is dumb but I feel sorry for him and sympathize with him. I really just find Amy's character annoying.
I'm out of step with everyone on this board, I guess. I thought episode three was the best one yet. Weird to watch, but very funny. It's slightly based on the town that I've lived in since 2004.

agreed. it seems like amy just tries way too hard. and steve carrel plays his character a little more natural.
Last week was pretty good imo, I thought the last 2 episodes were funny. I think this show will catch on. The mains character is beginning to act more sane and it makes the show better imo
Its good to know that I'll be seeing Rashida Jones every week without worrying about her being transferred or fired. Ill miss those pantsuits though.
Is there no thread on the new season of this show? I was half expecting to log on here and see a thread about how it was better than the Office. I definitely look forward to this show more than I do the Office now. Looks like Aziz/Randy is playing a bigger role now.
This show was being discussed in the "Community" show thread. I am really liking it as well, and I do look forward to this show more so than the Office at this point, although I love them both.
Anybody still watching this? This show's finally hitting its groove. Maybe because the other characters are being fleshed out better. And we at least got to see the brief life of... DJ ROOMBA! TEARIN IT UP! Or maybe because Office has fallen off.
i thought the first few episodes were pretty lame, so i didnt pay attention to this show at all for the last year or so, but its pretty dang funny...i think its been better than the office as of late too. and karen from the office is much hotter on p&r, imo. since the shows are both the same faux-doc style, it would have been cool if they went kelsey grammer (frazier) and just kept her karen character from the last show - she moves to indiana after quitting dunder-miflin. she's kind of playing the same character anyway - maybe a little more laid back on p&r.
