Man, I hope this show gets another season at least. I mean, freaking "Jesse" was on for how many seasons by being sandwiched b/t Friends and Seinfeld?
i'm with you. i still don't get not liking it because it's like the office. it's not like every successful sitcom in the history of television had a completely unique set up. hey night court! it's cheers in a night court. hey how i met your mother! it's friends, but with ross giving a little bit of narration! hey every other sitcom situated around a lovable schlub married to a girl way out of his league who happened to spawn one hot/dumb kid, one nerdy kid and one rebellious kid. don't forget the wacky neighbor!
I watched the first few minutes of a Rashida Jones (who, by the way ... geez) interview on Fallon's show last night, and he started off by buttering her up on all the famous Thursday NBC shows that have held the 8:30 slot over the years, before getting to "Veronica's Closet, Inside Schwartz ..." etc. Nothing against Fallon, who I like, but it was the funniest thing I've seen from him in years. And spot on.
Just two. I haven't watched since the first episode. My wife tapes Survivor, and I tape Bones, so I don't have any DVR slots left for "Earl" or this. I would look to see if it's on Hulu, but I'm a lazy, lazy man.
Not that good of an episode tonight but I thought it really had some good moments. I'm not giving up on P&R. I do hope they can have one "instant classic" this year like the office had with diversity day in season 1. But I do think the potential is there.
Ansari and the mustached boss guy steal every scene they're in. "Man that dude has stuck it in some craaaaazy chicks..."
Is Bones a good show or a really good show? Like what I've seen with previews and things like that, but I've never watched any episodes yet.
I like Bones, even though it's kind of cheesy sometimes. I wouldn't go so far to call it a really good show, but it's entertaining, often funny and always watchable (and the guy who plays Dr. Hodgins went to high school with my wife).

I liked the first 2 episodes but thought the third wasn't very good. I'll keep watching though. Probably didn't help that the Office and 30 Rock were great on the same night.
I think this show probably gets canned. It's gonna take a while for P&R to find it's stride (if that's even possible) and the networks don't exercise patience with new shows.
people thought the office was gonna get canned after tis first season too. I really liked the first 2 episodes, but the most recent one was a little stale.
i'm willing to finish the season, knowing that it took the office about 6 episodes before I was really enjoying it..
