Maybe I'm just having a mental lapse, but didn't Pollard spend part of a season with the Rockets? I swear I remember him being on the team and not playing much, and thinking he should maybe get a look as backup C. None of his career profile pages show it though, but I think it was only a matter of weeks he was on the team. Someone refresh my memory.
that's a negative, DieHard. lol. that interview makes me so uncomfortable I have to watch it in sections and then turn it off. So far I'm at the part where Cheryl is yelling at TNT...
Scott is definitely a TV persona in the making. If I were NBA TV I would fire Webber and Payton and just have Pollard and Vescey on full time. That is comedy gold right there
Scott was calm and just chilling while Miller was getting all worked up looking like a "full r****d." Scott needs to be on every broad cast from here on out. The guy has got what it takes. I say throw him in there w/ JVG lol.
I always loved Scott Pollard as a player. He was the perfect goof for a super-fun Kings team. I am still bummed that team never won it all. I'm not all surprised to see him bring that droll sense of humor to the studio, and I thought he handled a loose cannon Cheryl Miller perfectly. Hopefully he gets more airtime.
Thats was great, I loved the way he just sat back and let her keep digging her own grave. By the way, would anyone know who she was if her brother wasnt so good at hitting three pointers and flopping?
Yes you are having a mental lapse. You are thinking of Scott Padgett, LMAO! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_Padgett
You know, it's actually even funnier the second time you watch it. Pollard is pure gold. "It's so heavy, so it reminds me that it's always there." "Are you saying you want strangers to google you?" "You need a knee brace?" "Could you dunk?" "Not since she was in high school."
