My guess of what espn thinks 1. Lebron 2. Durant 3. Westbrook 4. Steph 5. Kawhi 6. Harden 7. Alphabet 8. Draymond 9. Cp3 10. Davis
I think this is very close. Davis is probably higher, would be my only adjustment. I think #10 would be his lowest ranking since his 2nd year. Like you, that's me guessing what ESPN will do and not really what I think. I'm going with your list, but Davis takes #7 and everyone slides down a spot.
10. CP3 9. Antetokounmpo 8. Green 7. AD 6. Harden 5. Kahwi 4. Curry 3. Westbrook 2. Durant 1. Lebron ESPN style
ESPN will rank them: 1. Snake 2. LBJ 3. Pubeless 4. Muscle Chestbrook 5. Man Hands 6. Beard 7. Cliff 8. Brow 9. Alphabet 10. Nutshot KD over LBJ for the controversy.
Draymond Green doesn't belong anywhere near the top 10. Put him on a team without superstars and he struggles mightily like a poor man's Ben Wallace. Top 10 is reserved for franchise players. Replace him with John Wall.
So this is Kyrie's worst ranking since yr 2 Here's Kyrie's previous rankings 2013 - Irving #8 2014 - Irving #23 2015 - Irving #18 2016 - Irving #15 2017 - Irving #25
6 players in the top 100 is not to bad, Trade or no trade(melo) this team will be better than last season and with CP3 to take alot of ball handling away from Harden(more energy to do his thing), they will be hard to beat. ESPN rankings mean NADA though.....
even though I troll Irving with a passion, to me there is no universe that he is lower than lowry in player rank. for the life of me I'll never understand how lowry has become so great in people's eyes. He plays no defense and he chokes in the playoffs every year. And more to the point all mike conley does is put on shows in the playoffs and he can't even make a lousy all star team.
Mark my words, LeBron will be no better than 3rd on the list. And the Greek freak will be top 5. this is sensationalizing at its best.
and if the criteria was simply which player can carry a team of non-stars around him to the most wins then Harden will be clearly #1
I think you at least got the top 5 right. Judging by how much run they've gotten with this list's controversial rankings so far, I'd be surprised if they didn't put LeBron #2 just so they can argue about it on every debate show tomorrow. It'll work even better if it causes LeBron to post another passive-aggressive tweet.
Why would he struggle? Hus defense, rebounding, 3 pt shooting and passing isn't dependent om having superstar players wtf
his 3pnt shooting depends on having superstar teammates. Most of his 3pnt made are wide open and completely unguarded. If he was in a team that didn't have such good spacing and teammates that commanded so much attention from the opponent he would have abysmal 3pnt %.
