It's definitely going to be a better game. Cool new stuff with the post game The Live event in NY will be very soon too.
nba2k8 sucks.. and all nba2k games have sucked. except for the 2k1 i think... on Dreamcast. I would still play that game now if i had a DC!
The 2K series is the best basketball series out there. The continuation of the job that team used to do on the old Live (when it was good). Will definitely be picking this up.
Live looks like absolute crap. It seems like they have been puttin out the same game since 06... except crappier.
The Demo is not so bad........definitely a notch below 2K7, but at least it's playable, check it out. But with the 2K8 improvements happening, I expect it to only close the gap a little bit.
I have a question about 2k8. I've been a playing the EA NBA series in previous years. I don't get it every year. I think 2006 is maybe the last one I bought. Anyway I usually try and recreate myself and friends that I play basketball with in the creating the character mode, and then put us all on a team. Can I do something similar with 2K8 on xbox 360?
No, but if you put in the cheatcodes: 2ksports, vcteam, nba2k, you unlock the nba2k8 computer nerd team. Cool! you can play as the geeks who brought you this game jk.. You actually should be able to use the create-a-player feature. I'm sure there is one but I haven't tried it.
