I'll completely agree with you on the trade logic and the My Player problems. Those are ****ty things that seem to happen every year. But you'd have to be completely blind and insane to say you don't have more control over the gameplay this year. Granted, there are still some canned animations (a few), and the AI can be dumb at times... but you have WAY more control over your player this year.
I haven't had a chance to read the thread yet but... Why does in every 2k11 Kyle Lowry have the ability to dunk? I have never seen him dunk...Unless you count that time he played some ball with that soccer player in a some playground... Also complaints - I can't seem to drive without posting up at the three point line then spinning towards the ring...I used to be so good at 2K11 and now playing 2k12 I feel like a spastic.
He's able too IRL... I've seen him do it one time before with the Griz. I remember him also catching a little alley-oop off the glass oop in one open practice game. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/2LnJfqDZ6DU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> He's more athletic than people give him credit for...
My Player and Online are so buggy its annoying. I mean everything I want in a game is there. You just need to take out the bugs. I love the gameplay. I love how hard it is to break someone down now on higher difficulties. The playcalling is so much better. If only those two modes weren't so buggy
I'd suggest just to play vs. friends right now and get used to the game before they fix the bugs. It's stunning and beautiful to play with someone who knows basketball and doesn't try to cheese. Animations are amazing, same with playbooks. Only downfactor gameplay-wise are the slow/unprecise passes and that stealing is too easy. Surprised how good the Rockets are, friend played with Mavs and I let Chuck guard Dirk, picked his pocket 5 times in the 1st quarter. Chuck a beast at the defensive end this year. Courtney Lee was player of the game, like 5-9 from downtown. Used T-Will at point for like 15minutes, love how you can penetrate and dish it with him. Also able to punish small PGs and post them up or take it to the basket with force. Dragic was huge in the 4th quarter, makin shots from mid and downtown like crazy, but not unrealistic. Can't get down Lowry's shot right now, fg% was like 25%. Patterson(turnaround jumper) and Scola(ever post-move imaginable) are deadly in the post, two really nice weapons down low. Thabeet was completely useless though, seems he has a very low defensive awareness and doesn't get up to block or help.
Installed the game, but when i copy over the crack it tells me i need permission from everyone to change the file. I installed just fine on my cousins computer, but nothing i do changes. I always get the error that i need to have permission yet i am an admin?? Anyone know what i can do?
It's doing it with everything now, i'm the only account. It says "You need perrmission to perform this action. You require permission from "my account name" to make changes to this file" WTF
i watched videos of the rockets in 2k12.....why does our court look different? there are no red outlines in the paint?? http://youtu.be/ERtqpEX2VBU
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/ERtqpEX2VBU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
check out the court, there are no more red lines leading up to the freethrow line on the side of the box!
Ok, so my player (a 7 foot center from Indonesia) tells the bucks in the pre draft interview that he wants to play close to home:grin: I had a interview with the Jazz and later with the rockets, So both are interested. Ofcourse the Jazz draft me (and also a center with their first pick). WHY
So i finally got it. Does anyone know anything about PC settings? Right now mine is set to: Resolution: 1920x1080 Refresh Rate:60 V-Sync:On Anti Aliasing(MSAA) 8x AA Quality: 2x everything else on high: runs great and looks good, but i was wondering if that is as high as i can go? Should the Anti aliasing be on 4x with quality at 8? I don't know what any of it means.
I love the gameplay it is much better than the gameplay in 2k11. However the my player does have the same problems as 2k11 before the updates. When I played against the Rockets their lineup was: Flyn, Lowry, Lee, Williams and Buddinger (at center). They fixed that in 2k11 in the updates why go back to that in this game.
Has anyone finished a season in online association? need tips. Fantasy draft style, naturally, the Celtics were given 1st pick(Howard) myself using the Rockets, scored 29th (Gordon) and 32nd (love). I came up with a cunning sign 'n' trade deal that would eliminate the Celtic cap space for the 2012 season. By combining Love (13.52) with Howard(16.22) and other multi-year contracts on their pay roll. It made my Rockets the only user team capable of signing Chris Paul for 2012 season. Now, overnight, the sneaky Celtics user has decided to trade Love in a multi-player trade that brings them expiring contracts, thus giving them cap room for the same offseason i'm hoping to sign Paul. Now, what's more frustrating then my friend getting two studs? those studs being Paul and Howard. Okay, with that said. How does online free agency work? Chris Paul has already opted to test free agency waters, that's a certainty, but, does anyone know what determines where he will land? Does team Chemistry, previous W-L record have any relevance? Or is it simply first in first served? Rep for help, thanks guys.
