Does it have text to speach or something for the annoucing? Otherwise why does it matter? You can name your player anything.
No. I can't. That's my problem. I tried using my Japanese name( which I prefer to my normal name), and 2K rejected it as a foul language name. Used my normal name, and it works fine, but I hate my normal name. Not that big a deal I guess, but it's kind of frustrating. Still an amazing game.
First time on and I get drafted 14th by THE ROCKETS!! Hell yeah. Oh and I guess they. Hate Latino names because mine is blocked too. I'm sure they will expand the acceptable names very soon.
Just bought it ... But Im not opening it until Wesley Johnson retires in my association mode on 2k11... I figure I got 3 seasons left... May take me about 3 weeks to do it...

I thought the whole offensive post game was pretty good last year, but then I play this one and it makes me realize just how crappy it was. I threw the ball down in to DeMarcus Cousins and, without taking a dribble, I faked a turnaround jumper and saw the defender take a little hop and put his hand up, so I instantly pulled my pivot foot through and ran toward the basket for an easy dunk. I couldn't do that on 2k11... I had to wait for the fake shot to finish, then for my player to face his back toward the basket, and then I had to try to do a spin move off of the defender. So, the next time I got the ball, I faked the turnaround jumper again to see if the defender would jump, and he didn't. So I did the little jab step to fake like I was going to the basket, which made the defender move toward that side, then I came back with a turnaround jumper. I missed it, but still, it was a great look. The best improvement, though, is the freedom you have on the defensive side in the post. I played my friend and he would instantly post up and then do the quick little spin off move down low. So I decided to back off... and the spin move literally wouldn't work anymore. He'd do it, and I would cut him off, which would force him to put up a contested shot down low.
FYI, I preordered mine from Amazon and got the Bird cover. I haven't played it yet but the reviews sound great. Are the post moves hard to learn?
I wouldn't say they are hard to learn, they just take a little bit to get used to. Once you get the fundamental controls down everything starts to flow together easily.
Wow the game feels great, Especially post moves. The legend games really look and feel great. It really is an improvement over 2k11.
how do you do the dream shake? Also, no one is disappointed with no Rudy T on the historic rocket's team? It would've been nice and feel more complete with him there
Nope. They put Bull and Brooks in there, which is good enough for me. The one thing they surprise me was that I didn't know Hakeem was 30 the year he won the first championship.
Yup. Hakeem was at the latter part of his prime. Which infuriates me because when people compare Hakeem to other legends, they are thinking of his latter years.

Wow Reloaded download is out! Why didn't anyone give the heads up. I never bothered checking b/c last year it took a while for a torrent to pop up.
I played the pc version and I tried the Association.... during the draft... when stern is all talking and announcing picks, if I try to access a menu and change my mind and don't use it....it just sits there, stern just looks at u and the draft doesn't continue....I pressed all the keys and etc. The game doesn't freeze, because you can see stern kinda moving around. Hopefully there will be a pc patch out to fix this.
