Man, don't sweat it and don't take it personally. With his logic, the thread about Yao's performance vs. Germany shouldn't be in the GARM either b/c Yao is wearing a China jersey. I think any sensible person can see that makes little sense.

But if someone made a highlight vid of Vernon Maxwell in a Sonics uniform, I seriously doubt he would have an issue with it.

    He is just weird sometimes.

tinman is just having fun. getting old in age, so he only relishes memories and not cherish the present.

Try super frigging looney. He is turning the whole GARM into a "we against them" mentality. I would think any sane person would want his team to have more fans and supporters, regardless of the reason they are supporting. Tincan obviously started supporting the Rockets because of Dream (there is some lame cheesy sappy story he posted somewhere about meeting Dream and falling in love ever since with Dream), so what is so wrong if someone started supporting the Rockets coz of Yao? This dude needs to stop being a hypocrite and move the f on.

For all the **** you guys give tinman for saluting true Rockets heroes (you know, guys who got us out of the first round (eek) and won championships), it's very telling how sensitive you all are about his comments on the posthumous Mc G threads...

chillax TMac hater, don't twist my words. Read again. I never attacked the players who won us the championship, I am attacking someone who is using those players to diss on the Rockets current players and the "new" fans. Got it? Or maybe grasping a concept and TMac haters don't go hand in hand.

There's nothing wrong with watching T-Mac in his Orlando days I mean he was a great scorer then and HEALTHY! For right now all we have is T-Mac, Yao and Artest. I loved the championship team and what they accomplished then...but I have to believe in today, in the now, because I was then, am now, and always will be a Houston Rockets fan.

Look dude, this is going backwards in time not forward.
No one is posting the Sacremento Kenny Smith Highlights or Glen Rice Miami Highlights here are they?

The Yao playing with China is the present where he still is a Rocket. That's pretty important.

Tmac in Orlando, who here was a fan of the Magic back then? no one.
We would want Steve and Cuttino to destroy Lazy Eye and Mickey Mouse every time we play them.

And what's the deal with worshipping Tmac's losing effort? At least the Jordan worship makes sense. I seriously DO NOT want to see Tmac score 46 points in a LOSING EFFORT in the playoffs ever with this team.

Tmac in Orlando means NOTHING to a certain segment of Rockets fans here.

I like Tmac when he plays with the Rockets, not a FORMER (not LATER) team like the Orlando Magic.

Barkley was a BILLION TIMES better than Tmac when he was with the Suns, but no Rocket fan worships Barkley when he was in a Suns uniform.

    In fact we hated Chuck.

Are you really serious? or just dumb enough to not realize that you are contradicting yourself and talking out of your behind every time you post?

Dude, Barkley's championship dreams were thwarted by Hakeem Olajuwon and Michael Jordan.

McG can't even get past Carlos Boozer.

what does that have to do with the Rockets and your obsession with Tmac's Orlando days?

thanks for being an Orlando Magic fan. I bet your rooted for Tmac when he played against Steve & Cuttino's Rockets. I'm sure you worshipped he scored like 50 points in a loss too.

    AntiSonic,
you've been a long time Rocket fan hence your name AntiSonic (only true fans know why you hated them).

    1. Did you care about Glen Rice's awesome games in Charlotte?
    2. Did you care about Kenny Smith's Sacremento days?
    3. Did you root for Charles when he was a Sun?
    4. Did you root for Jeff Van Gundy teams when he was a Knicks' coach?
    5. Were you mesmerized by Clyde's Drexler's losing efforts against Michael Jordan?
    6. Did you really care about Tmac when he was an Orlando Magic?
    7. Did you care about Shandon Anderson when he was a Jazz player?

Again, my post was to point that just to disprove your idiotic post that MVP mean better player, much less billion times.

Call me whatever you want, but I am a Rockets fan, yes mainly because of TMac and Yao, just like your hypocritical face started with Dream. To think you have the gall to attack other new fans based on who they are supporting and who have been supporting Rockets the longest.
