The problem wasn't our offense. The problem was our defense.

Really? Only 4 players score, lowest score ever in playoffs, lowest points in a half, etc. and we were still in the game until the 4th and you think it was our defense?

Please tell me you were being sarcastic

Shame on JVG not developing the bench.

What?!?! If Zboy says it people have problem with it.

If JVG says it, he is the all-knowing coach?

    Hypocrisy against Zboy!

    Rockets Shooting percentage this series:
    1st game: 39%
    2nd game: 36%
    3rd game: 32%
    4th game: <30%???

Amazing, we still led the series 2-1. I guess the Jazz really suck.

Actually, if you paid attention, had T-mac not sent up that meaningless 3 with seconds remaining, we really only scored 22 in one half.

We went 8 minutes without scoring a point.

Our entire offense looked not only scared, but petrified.

In all my years, including the game 7 debacle, I have never witnessed the Rockets look so completely scared.

If we lose this series, we need to change some serious components. The leadership tonight was nonexistent.

That's right! Just think about it: if the Rockets can hold the Jazz score only 50 tonight, the Rockets would have won the game by 17. The problem is always defense.

Lol don't be ridiculous. The rockets held the jazz to 81 points. You should win if you hold a team to that. You cannot win however if you only score 67 points. Defense was fine tonight. Offense lost us this game and not defense. Don't let JVG or Rafer tell you otherwise. If you hold a team to 81 points, you win that game almost all the time, provided you actually have some offense.

I can sell you my sarcasm-detector. Its used but in good working condition. It's also very user friendly. You slap a Gundy bobblehead on it and it smacks some sense of humor into you.

The only reason I am selling it is because I got the Deluxe model on ebay which comes with Mutombo audio.

I am not sure if there is such a thing called "good loss". But out of disappointment, I am glad that we lost to the ugliest-possible extent this game and next game is less than 2 days ahead.

It was an insultation to our players and they knew that well enough. It was an insultation to Yao too. Us Chinese hate "losing face" most hence you often find Yao plays exceptionally well in the next game after being schooled or owned by his opponents in the previous games. Even with his poor performance tonight, he still managed to get 26-14 in this game. Now think about the possibilities if Yao was playing on par.

I am still confident right now. I will be very worried if our players made their shots but we still loss at the end of this game. It would be meaning that our best was just not good enough. Our players will come back to Houston with 3-1, GO ROCKETS!

Good post- the 4th Q was painful to watch- no scoring for an 8 minute stretch. We were still in the game early in the 4th - I was holding out hope....
