    Way before eh?

Member since 2007. Were you living under the rocks before that?

For someone claiming to be a long time Rockets fan, you sure have a history of getting antsy when Hakeem gets love on *gasp* a Rockets site, of all places.

You are not fooling anyone Tmac lover. Tinman and us real longtime Rockets fan can see right thru your antics. :p

    Zboy,
I bet his favorite Rocket moment was when Tmac won the scoring title in Orlando.

You know what I'm not gone argue with you becasue we would get no where.
Just know I never said anything bad about Hakeem, and yes T-Mac is my favorite player but that don't make me any less of a Rockets fan.

See thats where you're wrong and now you look like an ass for assuming. My favorite moment was the 13 in 33 secs.

Who made it to the NBA finals first, Michael Jordan, Hakeem or Tmac?

When Hakeem faced Jordan in actual games from 1984-1992, which Team came out with the most victories?

Do you feel that Hakeem's championship(yes singlar) in 1994 was not deserved because Jordan was out? (1995 Jordan played as #45, eliminated by Orlando)

Which playoff team is better? 2003 Orlando Magic or 1994 Houston Rockets?

Explain to us why this is called Clutchfans (Clutchcity.net originally) and why the name Clutch is associated with the Rockets.

    That is all.

I don't have to prove anything to you to be a real Rcokets fan. And I already went through this with you before.

Look you know damn where who made it to the finals first as well as I know it was Hakeem. Why are you asking me these dumb questions?

these questions, any proud Rockets fan would love to answer.

the harder question, why was it called Clutch City instead of something like Choke City?

I'll be honest. I missed this one. I thought it was Jordan (missed the finals appearance before Jordans first 3 titles).

In my defense I was 7 when we won the two titles tho.

see that's the spirit though. As an old time Rocket fan, we should educate the new fans about the truth , not what NIKE says.

Dream made it to the finals in second year, before the NBA decided to destroy our team (kicking out Lloyd, Wiggins cause of drugs). The Lakers, defending champs, were expected to win it all again, but we shook them.

The NIKE + David Stern marketing machine doesn't want you know to know that MJ had to struggle and lose to boston, detriot, before he became a true winner. I will never discredit MJ and what he did as well as Magic, Bird, etc. We have to be fair and not forget the truth and forget the marketing.

I'm not old enough to remember Calvin Murphy and the NBA without a 3 point line, but I'm always happy to hear the truth!

I'm proud of you dude! we can save an entire generation of Rockets fans so they know the truth!

Eh... its nice to appreciate history, but not necessary. I never get involved in huge debates before when I became a fan (around 94-95 but really hardcore in the Francis era).

but you should get the facts right it doesn't matter if it happened the game before or 20 years ago. Francis was a great player back before he was de-Cuttinoed. You would correct people if they said an incorrect fact about Steve or the Rockets right?

Yes. I'm just saying I wouldn't push Rockets history on new Rockets fans, but at the same time if we ever get into an argument and they don't know the facts behind what we are talking about, thats a bad thing.

when you put on that Rockets jersey, you inherit the entire history of the Houston Rockets. We've been around along time, this isn't the Charlotte Bobcats.

Our history is just as good as the Lakers, Bulls, and Celtics. Its tradition, its the banners we have up there and why we strive to get more banners.
