HOU needs to trade for another F/C.
I know everyone wants James Johnson but the man would probabaly be a disaster shooting 3’s which is what we need from the 4 spot in order to spread the floor and allow Harden and Chris to do their thing.
If HOU should make a trade for anyone it should be for Kevin Love.
Love is a 4/5 man that can definitely spread the floor, play ok defense, is a master at rebounding and a great outlet passer that can throw it to Capela on those rim runs.
Putting Love at the 4 and moving PJ to the 3 would be ideal.
    • Paul
    • Harden
    • PJ
    • Love
    • Capela
This lineup would give you a mix of defense, rebounding and scoring.
While the bench would give you a crazy offensive punch. This of course would be ideal if HOU manages to keep Gordon and only have to dump Knight, Chriss, Ennis, Melo and Picks for Love. Even if Gordon is involved I think Green, Rivers, and House are good enough to replace him.
    • Rivers
    • Gordon
    • Green
    • House
    • Nene/ Love

Demarre Carroll is the perfect player for Tilman (expiring) and for us. If we could get him for Knight and a first, don't even blink. I don't think the Nets are interested in giving up that cap space. They're going to try and sign free agents, it's what they've been waiting for.

?? Still salty about the PPatt deadline trade ??
    • Lou Williams was going be 6MOY, until Morey traded for him and he got overshadowed on the same team as Gordon.
    • DMo was traded for a FRP, rescinded.
    • Got Kyle Lowry at trade deadline
    • Made the big TMac for Kevin Martin trade
    • Brooks for Dragic
    • got several FRPs

but yeah, usually he is just trading Lishtouk's draft rights for the fun of it....or kicking the can with Patrick Patterson and Marcus Morris and DMo

I like the KLove idea. I think Kevin Love is currently a negative asset for Cleveland due to his injury history and huge and long contract. It shouldn't cost too much to get him. I think 1 pick + contracts like Knight and Criss would be enough.

Rockets need to roll the dice on going for a championship before CP3's contract becomes an albatross. The window for a championship is tiny and Rockets will be in cap hell anyways in the next few years. Adding KLove's contract will be expensive, but worth the risk.

Bobby Portis violently punched out Nikola Mirotic in the face, fractured his skull. It is dangerous to have Bobby as a teammate, plus Bobby is Injury prone.

Luc has played 4 games this season. He's got a TOTAL of 20 pts, 7 rbs, 2 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk

Anyone who says Luc would've made the slightest difference this year is deluded. So far for the Clips he's missed 36 out of 40 games.

in fact, since mid-December of last season, Luc has played 51 games, but missed 63.

Nobody can make a difference on the bench. Except maybe MCW. :)

I perceive him as a good player, but not worth giving up a 1st rounder for. However, I do agree with you that is probably the best that can be expected out of Knight. If the pick is between 25-30, I could swallow it reluctantly. I want Carroll as a buyout, but I don't expect the Nets to give him up so easily.

A decent buyout after the Carroll trade, would be really nice.

Rockets are at the bottom of the League in Defensive Rebounds. Rockets need more Small Forwards with Rebounding with 3 point shooting. Rockets need to add alot of depth

1 Point Guard that can playmake and pass
    Goran Dragic

    Small Forwards
SF Jae Crowder Jazz, Robert Covington Wolves, Trevor Ariza Wizards, Patrick McCaw FA, Denzel Valentine Bulls,
Iman Shumpert Kings, Justin Jackson Kings

1 Wirey PF that can play Center at times Small Forward
    Pascal Siakam, Jerami Grant type

Seemed like something people should be aware of...do you disagree?

Kevin Love should only be picked if he is bought out. This is unlikely to happen.

I like Shumpert, and Justin Jackson could be useful too. The rest are unavailable in my opinion. Isn't Valentine injured?

Is Bebe still playing or not? He isn't as good as Siakam, but he is better than the underachieving Bruno. Addendum: I just read Bebe is back playing in Spain.
