Lol Popovich ain't coming here. Has he ever coached a team without elite bigs? Would probably just laugh at us.

Obviously you say yes in the off-chance he'd be interested though.

Isn't the idea of getting Hammon good enough? I like Pop myself but he definitely isn't compatible with Harden. Harden should pick out the HC.

Pop is not coming to Houston with an owner like Tilman! Pop hates Trump and Tilman would take it from both ends from any party as long as it benefited his business. Pop is a man of principals and probably looks at Tilman with disgust. Pop would never want to be around anyone that fraternizes with the current president. No way Pop comes to Houston unless we get a truly progressive owner.

i don't know man, to me it feels like Pop is the spurs. I just don't see him working anywhere else. he will probably become an executive for the spurs when he decides to quit coaching, just like Pat Riley.
also, broke arse Tilman won't be able to afford any elite coach.

Pop has some good young talent in L.Wallker, K.Johnson, L.Samanic and Metu which can prolong his stay as coach. Unless there is a power struggle within the Spurs, I see the same chance as we get Lebron James wear a Rockets uni.

I think it's obvious who the Rockets are going to hire.

The guy they let get away - Chris Finch.

It just fits their style. Develop a guy, let him go then bring him back as a big pickup.

... I don't know seems unlikely. Plus we're a division rival. Coming here, lot of Spurs fans would riot.

I mean, the Rockets are an NBA franchise, and Pop is a non-fictional human person. So...

"Brie Larson could fall in love with @Haymitch"

After reading that, would you consider it a "rumor"?

Hmmm. A couple of years ago, didn't Pop say he went out of his way to watch Harden? IIRC, the quote was about Harden being the only non-Spur player he does that for.

chances are Morey goes with someone he interviewed before. lots of guys interviewed before MDA was hired are available again.

Silas and griffin were both given second interviews along with MDA last time. morey also interviewed Lionel Hollins twice but for two separate vacancies. kalamain and cassell interviewed in 2016 as well.
