    <HR>

The Chicago Bulls made a money saving move on Monday night when they pulled the trigger n a trade that sent All-Star forward Luol Deng to the Cleveland Cavaliers for what amounted to draft picks. Andrew Bynum’s contract was just part of the money saving aspect of the deal as the Bulls cleared around $20 million in cap space and got back under the luxury tax threshold.

But the trading may not be over and the Bulls may continue to throw fuel overboard as their season crashes and burns. According to ESPN insider Chad Ford, who held a weekly NBA chat session, the Bulls may end up moving Joakim Noah if another great deal comes around.

Moving Noah would be a sure-fire signal that the Bulls are tanking, something almost everyone assumes anyways. Ford mentions that a lot of chatter has involved Noah in trade circles and Chicago apparently hasn’t counted out trading him. Ric Bucher published a report in late 2013 that stated the Bulls discussed a LaMarcus Aldridge for Joakim Noah trade over the summer, which means trading him isn’t a new idea.

I don't think Chad Ford saying "lots of talk about those two" is enough to say Noah is getting sold off by the Bulls.

However, if Noah is on the block, that means Asik is once again Joakim's backup on the trading block market.

If (big if) Noah is truly in play, could Phoenix be a player here, say for Okafor's corpse and a couple of picks?

Noah and Hinrich for Millsap, first rounders and Dennis Schröder

Horford and Noah played together in College

And the Bulls have more than enough Assets to trade for Love

IIRC the Bulls cut $6m from the cap. The $20m mentioned here is how much overall money they save.

As for Noah, no use for him at his price tag. He can't really play the 4, and he costs too much to be a backup 5.

This is dead on. Noah and Dwight on the court at the same time would be a disaster.

    Asik/Dmo/Beverley for Noah....

They said dump salary, so it would probably be for a team with good picks and cap space. Unlike us. I doubt they take contracts back that aren't expiring. Why would they take Lin&Asik who are owed money next year? Right back where they started.

Obviously, the Bulls have very serious concerns about DR being able to stay healthy, but trading Noah guarantees further mediocrity beyond this season. With Noah and DR, you've got two stars, and you're not far from being back in hunt. All that changes unless they get fair value for Noah, which they won't, which means DR is next on the block. Unbelievable.

I can easily see rosé being traded with his injury history

Kelly, your lack of obsession with hoops has been duly noted on many occasions, we all acknowledge you are much more rounded and stable individual :p

    Please dear God No.

I hate Noah almost as much as the player I hate the most in the NBA.

He does some nice things on the defensive end, but he's overrated and has a ****ty attitude. Do Not Want.
