    Let's play a game:

Starting at #1 and progressing downward, list the first five players you think might legitimately available in trade for a cost the Rockets can afford. The last bit on that statement is there to exclude guys like Love who is clearly available, but already priced out of the range of what the Rockets are willing/able to offer.

At first glance the options don't look too appealing to me, but I could be wrong. OP'S list seems pretty solid, but I'd like to hear other thoughts.

it's only ridiculous when he start looking at the list? who are you taking out of the top 10, 15, 20, 30 and putting Davis in? I see him taking the spot of 2 in the top 30.

he is definitely better than Ty Lawson and Demar Derozen
He is MAYBE better than Goran, Al Jefferson, Bosh, Cousins

    Dwight definitely isn't a top 5 player.

I'll personally take Steph over D12 as well, 4th IMO is pretty fair for how well he shoots the 3 ball.

Morey is an idiot and is lucky that he didn't get a third "star". It's a terrible strategy to lock up the majority of your cap space on three players unless one of them is named Lebron James and another is named Kevin Durant. As it is, paying Harden and Howard over half of the cap space is a bad move. Especially since one can't play defense and the other can't play offense.

This is where statistics don't tell the whole story. His rotations are slow and, playing as a center for a decent, he got pushed around too much. He will be very good, but not top 10 based on last season.

You talking about the guy that put up 27 ppg in the playoffs? Terrible argument. In addition, that "terrible strategy" has had a lot of success recently, and this is a copycat league.

I 100% agree with you. People seem to forget Dwight carried a pretty mediocre magic team passed Lebron and the Cav's to the finals. Even though they got swept he still deserves more respect.

    Didn't get swept.
Not like the Cavs team was any good either.

Build a team from that list with 1 main guy from number 6 up

With 4 role players from number 66 on up

Will it have more wins if it was in the WC compared to a team with harden with 4 guys from number 66 on up?
